    53% from 2, 41% from 3, 83% from the line

Sounds like a damn good jump shooter to me

If the Rockets can get KD for a package of something like Jabari, Brooks, Whitmore, and Landale plus their first round picks, I don't see why it shouldn't be done. KD makes us a better contender for the next 2-3 years.

If that's the package, then no. If we are going to acquire KD the Suns need to choose either picks or young talent. You don't give them both. I would imagine that their picks would be more attractive since it would allow them to actually make moves.

I would agree but I think the Suns could squeeze it out of Tilman and Stone. We also don't get that Lakers and Spurs luck.

We are an unlucky franchise that's for sure. I guess at least we didn't give up 7 unprotected FRPs for ****ing Rudy Gobert. So it could be worse.

Stone is pathetic if he can’t even make a marginal move at the deadline. You lost out on Fox because you believe in this roster. At least fix the obvious holes. But like I said, if he makes any moves, the clock starts on his evaluation. He can just hide behind the Suns and Nets picks until 2029 and push “internal growth”.

Fred would be the guy that would have to go.

    Lonzo Ball

    for

    Jock Landale
    Jeff Green
    1-2 seconds

Would fit well with the 2nd unit, nice buy low candidate for the playoff run without sacrificing future optionality

Rockets, it's not every day you get to acquire arguably the greatest jump shooter of all time who blocks 1.3 shots and still plays good defense.

Every problem we have on this team is a symptom of our shooting and we're trying to band aid it with rebounds, kamikaze drives and transition points. He's going to give you 27 efficient ppg this season. Maybe 25ppg next season onwards. Highly highly efficient, deadly in the playoffs, championship experience, looks athletic for a PF. His game is holding up better than Lebron's because of defensive height and jumper.

Brooks, Adams, Tate and Holiday for Durant works. We'd have to follow it up maybe trading Landale for 2 minimumish players and sign one FA. I'd bring up Nate Williams. Maybe go out and do that Robert Williams deal would be a good idea at this point because Adams' salary was needed.

Now it's just a matter of beating the picks packages on the market. I think 1 great pick and our 2 worst picks gets it done without including any young prospects. If it doesn't we may have to include Cam or Reed - and personally I'm not sure I would but I think front office wouldn't care if that was their only obstacle (I would rather convert Brooks into a FRP and expiring and make it 4 picks, unbeatable trade package). It would also fix our timeline because no one would be in early stage development anymore so no fighting over minutes for development.

    Sengun/Jabari/Landale
    Durant/Jabari/Tari
    Amen/Tari/Williams
    Green/Whitmore
    FVV/Amen/Sheppard

Amen/Green would look a lot better next to Durant. A LOT.

How about we trade with Lakers since they need a Center?
Steven Adams/Jock Landale + Cam Whitmore for Austin Reeves + filler

Some of these deals y'all are proposing sound like what you'd give up when he was 27, not 37. For us, given our actual timeline (we are not winning a championship this season with or without him), a 37yo KD is worth a couple draft picks and Dillon Brooks, tops. Probably to another team he's the last piece to potentially win a title, and to them, he might be worth a bit more. But even then, certainly not like, two good young players and three draft picks, WTF is wrong with y'all?

You put internal growth in qoutes like there isn't any legit internal growth.

This is the kind of move I want to see us make honestly--hold onto our FRP stash and young core until at least the offseason, just trade some second round picks and get some bench reinforcements, particularly at point guard and center.

Nonsense. No one is proposing anywhere near what Durant was worth at 27. You think Durant at 27 was worth a decent prospect couple of FRPs? Who is saying to do much more than that?

No, I think 27 year old KD was worth like 3-4 FRPs and a couple of good young players on rookie contracts, which is what one of the proposals above was. 37 year old KD is absolutely not worth that package at all, especially to a team that's not ready to truly contend for a title this season.

KD at 27 was worth like 10 FRPs if you weren’t also sending an All Star in return. If KD were 27, the Suns would probably reject an offer from the Thunder for all their picks.
