Hell no to Holiday. He is being hunted on defense and is often a ball stopper. Just plain too short.

The Jazz appear to be thinking along the lines of being sellers, by the way. They just sent Fontecchio to Detroit, and another report says they are definitely not buyers. Certainly Olynyk should be obtainable.

I would be seriously tempted to make them a godfather offer for Lauri, but I doubt it gets done.

Olynyk makes too much sense. Can play backup 5 this year, then slide to backup PF next year when Adams is back, Tari slides to backup sf, cam backup or starting sg. Tate out for picks

Holiday got cooked by TJ McConnel last night. Probably the biggest reason why we lost.

TJ is lowkey one of the better backup point guards in the league, but yes, I have not been impressed with Holiday lately. He is one of the only guys on the roster who can shoot, but he really needs it set up for him and sucks as a self creator and as a playmaker for others. Then on defense he is just too small and unathletic. He doesn't have Fred's ability to play above his height using quick hands and great defensive instincts... and trying to hide two 6-footers in our rotation is just too much.

Realistic bigs that can be had without giving up a ton:

    Andre Drummond - elite rebounder

Chris Boucher - used to be a very good defensive player but has fallen off a bit; might be better suited to the 4.

Kelly olynk - can stretch it but net negative defender (do not want; I want defense)

nick richards - size but haven’t watched him enough to know about his defense.

We don't even have any convincing randoms making stuff up this year. I miss Brabra.

I was thinking just a last resort corner shooter. His play has been frustrating but I’m sure he can play off ball if Ime asks.

Tillman was a guy I kinda thought might be a good fit for us, but we went for Adams instead. Wonder if we have something else in the pipe.

What about making a play for Kevon Looney? Warriors fans say he’s fallen out of the rotation. Really good defensive big.

Xavier strikes me more of an undersized PF body .....while Adams is the traditional bruiser C.

I like Tillman, but he is 6'7" and expiring after this year so it wouldn't work for us. Makes sense for a contender like Celtics though
