NBA/Silver might want to insert the GSW to the play-in, along with the Lakers... they might gift/ensure the top4 pick if the Rockets comply--no TV appearances anyway--unlike the said two teams
i mean obviously i'd rather have a top 4 pick then make the play in but dumping FVV for nothing is dumb at this point, he's very much needed next season
Jalen Green+Dipo+Tate+Holiday+Landale 2027 Rockets FRP (top4 protected)+2-2nd rounders for Vucevic and Caruso. Vucevic Sengun/Eason Smith/Cam Brooks/Caruso FVV/Amen
Vucevic sucks, it would require a 1st rounder to take on his contract. Him and sengun would be a disaster
Do you really think that team is worse than us currently? The spacing, perimeter defense, rebounding, length all improve. I think one day we’re going to find that Sengun needs to play with another big that can shoot. in a few years when he is physically matured maybe that is Jabari.
The guy that just turned 33. Has about a rebound more per game in more minutes played. Shooting 27.3% and 47.5% overall. Giving up on the 2nd pick in the draft on that and reduce playing time for the team’s other top pick (Jabari) for that? Along with another top 7-8 pick where you draft a back up center on a 4 year long reasonable contract. No thanks sir
Perimeter defence improving with Vuc and Sengun on the court at the same time? Vucevic is terrible. Hard pass.

I don't agree with the Vuc is terrible takes, he's a decent player, but he doesn't fit alongside Sengun at all. Our defense would be horrible. Both of them are true centers, too slow to keep up with modern power forwards. If we could get him just as a salary dump and he would accept the role, I'd take Vucevic as a backup center. I'm sure he wants to start though.
he has like 2/41 after this season, so it would take substantial draft capitol for the rockets to take him. Would the bulls give a very lightly protected future 1st? i doubt it
Not saying it's likely, but I would do: To Bulls: Jalen Green Victor Oladipo Brooklyn 2024 pick (top 4 protection) To Rockets: Coby White Patrick Williams Both guys from bulls shooting 39% from 3. Williams has a reputation as a defensive player. Coby is 6'5" combo guard who can play opposite FVV or backup some at the 1 if there's an injury to Amen or FVV. I know the Brooklyn pick could be a lottery pick. We have a lot of young guys blocked as it is. Unless it's top 4 it's probably a backup for us. I could see as opportunity for Chicago to add picks if they unload Derozan and Lavine for a rebuild.
