I could hit you upside that dense head of yours with every tangible piece of information you could think of that shows Alp is a far superior player to Myles. But it wouldn’t get very far. Some people (you and your alt HLM) are beyond comprehension on almost every subject. Alp is the franchise, the best player by far on the team. We aren’t trading Him
Can your kid score without FVV on the court? Jalen carries the team on his own, as shown in the Grizzlies game. Miles Turner can score at a high rate and can be used like a Jokic with elite defense unlike your boy. .
Sorry. None of that is remotely true. Literally nothing supports your claim. Try again kiddo. You gotta do better at trolling, your game is weak. Only works on the simple minded like HLM
I know you love Jalen BUT you would have to THINK about trading him for Luka and Kyrie??? Lol I wouldn't let Mark Cuban hang up the phone until both were in my office. Last game was the best all around game I've seen Jalen have but Luka is like that almost EER night. I think you are really messing with the SOFs. Lol
I would prefer Jalen not only because he has a lot more potential, but also because he is a homegrown star... Think about how Kobe and Jordan were. Did the Lakers even consider trading Kobe? I think you get my point. Hahah I don't have anything against the SOFs, but of course my Jalen truth makes them afraid that their boy might be traded soon. Buy low Sell high...
Actually there was a time when the Lakers considered trading Kobe. Go back and look. It was after Shaq left and before they stole Paul Gasol. But it never materialized. In regards to Sengun, I've said it before, I think he is a budding star but he is limited and his limitations were on full display against Jokic. Jokic was getting rebounds over him, he was scoring over him.. He is just not tall enough and he is not a top level defender. Offensively, if and when he develops a 3pt shot, he will be awesome! I think the Rockets dilemma is going to be who do you trade to reach that next level; Jabari or Sengun? I just don't think they are a good enough pairing. Jabari needs to be paired with a bigger center and Sengun needs to be paired with a bigger PF. The only other alternative I see is to copy Denver and go 6'10 and taller across the board upfront. Get a 6'10 SF who can shoot and play good defense. Jalen McDaniels of Minnesota would be a perfect fit.
Can't believe anybody is still calling to trade Sengun for a guy who's never even made an all-star game like 27-year-old Myles Turner, hahaha. I'm about as far from "Sengun Only Fan" as you can be while actually still liking the guy as a player. I've been vocally skeptical of him having a superstar ceiling many times in the recent past. But the dude is proving it. He is regularly our best player on the court and it's not close. Our offense grinds to a halt most nights the minute he hits the bench. We are probably still a bottom-feeder on offense without him. And his defense is, at a bare minimum, much better than it was. He is switching better and playing harder and he is somewhat of a shotblocking threat--not elite, but still something players have to think about. I mean that one dude is just a troll, probably a Booby alternate account or something, but we got regular posters defending an idiotic trade like that. Even if you're going to ask to trade him, at least ask for an All-NBA player, FFS. Because that's clearly the track Sengun is on, even if he doesn't become an MVP-contending superstar in the future. He's already at least as good as Sabonis (3rd team last season).
Not this year but the goal is to win a championship, not just keep getting to the playoffs. And since Jokic has an OLD MAN'S GAME, he can probably play effectively until he is 35 - 37 yrs old. So we just can't keep saying, he does that to everybody. We need to figure out a path to beat him and the only route I see, is to get bigger along the frontline. Jabari reminds me of a smaller KG. I can see him getting stronger but not bigger. KG had an inside outside game but he was never a banger. When he was next to big Perkins and big Baby, he won his championship. And besides, I think if Jabari added more weight, it would slow him down. I love the way he is on the court right now.
Jabari is definitely the better choice, no doubt about it. He can do everything that foreign boy does, but he does it better. Jabari's smooth jump shot and ability to play center are both very valuable. Did you see Jokic was awful against Jabari... 90% chance that by the end of the season, Jabari and Jalen are gonna be all-stars...
I agree, I see Sengun along the same lines as a Sabonis too. Very good on offensive but avg to below avg on defense. And we have to accept the fact, that that's only going to get you so far in the playoffs. The bigger teams are going to attack that weakness. A prime example. The last time we played the Fakers, what did they do? The went to AD against Sengun 10 - 15 straight plays. If my memory serves me well, I think it was the whole 3rd qtr. And the only way to combat that is to double team but you never want to be at a mismatch in the paint.
The problem is nothing supports your claim. Hes an above average to good defender now. Your “eye test” doesn’t transcend actual numbers.
Come on man, let's be civil. That "Foreign Boy"? That's no better than calling some one stupid, dumb, or an idiot. I like good debate.
Statistics are mere numbers if not endorsed by my respected eye test... Do you sense a star shining on the court when that boy steps onto it? Please be honest... How about Jalen? He exudes a superstar aura such that it hardly matters what he does... His radiance causes opponents to miscalculate and make severe errors on the court. I feel as if that dude from middle east is only present for aerobics and to run awkwardly on the court.
