The Rockets have come this far with TMac and his expiring contract alone will keep TMac here till the end of the season. No need to pick up contracts that are not expiring since Scola needs to be sign this Summer. I would rather see what TMac has left. I hope now that he does come back pi$$ed off with something to prove.

I didn't even want t-mac back, i am affraid that he can kill this awesome chemistry and teamwork.
I prefer him to stay out all year long, and get nothing for him, seriously. Or get players i know they will add and not substract. Even if those players add at positions we have covered.

It sure would have been nice to have had a couple savvy vets to help finish this game tonight.

Getting Prince and Hamilton for McGrady would be great from a value standpoint, but adding two wing players isnt exactly what we need at the moment.

I would be okay with moving Prince to make it a 3-way trade. Several teams are looking for a solid perimeter defender; Portland, Cleveland, Orlando come to mind. Prince for Pryz and Outlaw, Z and a pick or Gortat and filler would be acceptable.

Sending Prince to Portland, McGrady to Detroit, Hamilton and Pryzz to Houston would definatley be something to look at.

we need some sort of big man. Anyone. Emeka Okafur would have been nice.

I could see a duo of Bosh and Scola though. That would be damn nice

I'd jump at this trade, if another trade followed that reduced some of the redundancy at certain positions in exchange for a quality center with size. Even if another trade wasn't made, it would make the Rockets better. These are quality, disciplined, well-rounded, unselfish, smart players who would fit into Adelman's system beautifully. We'd have a logjam, but what a talented logjam. It would be great to see what Adelman could do with that bunch. But the point is, we'd have so much talent at SF and SG, that it would practically beg for a trade.

I want a deal for a superstar player, not role-players. We have plenty of those already.

If there's none out there, then so be it.

The only deals that made me really excited were around Baron Davis and Chris Paul at the end of the season/offseason. I still think that the Rockets will somehow transition into another superstar player, no matter how crappy their situation seems in terms of the 2010 free-agency.

Many NFL teams have "change of pace" backs. Would some part of that concept work in the NBA.

I'd love to see the Rockets make Yao a super sub. Give him 4 minutes a quarter and pound it in to him... as an alternative to their running game.

Likely to extend his career by reducing wear and tear on his body.

Why the love for Rip? He will run till he drops, but he cant handle the ball.

IMO, Prince could replace Battier, and rox will not miss a beat on the defensive end while Prince is a much better offensive player compare to Battier.

I think if we can come how get Bosh next season we arw set. I feel that he is exactly the type of player we need at the center postion.
