SA has made no indication they would want Gordon, Tate, and KMJ though. If they trade Murray they are all in on the Wemby sweepstakes. They apparently are wanting four first rounders for Murray, that is simply a price too high.
Well they have to take back salary and Gordon’s ngtd deal is great for that. They might like Tate and KMJ or not is true. No one is going to give them 4 first rounders. Or at least not the way they want them like we received from the Nets one per year.
Exactly, it sounds to me like they want to retain Murray but obviously would move him if someone overpays with draft picks. It would be a foolish move for a rebuilding franchise, but if a fringe contender thought he put them over the top it might be worth the gamble. SA is such a small market they pretty much have to rebuild through the draft so if they can extend Murray that is almost certainly their priority. They won't be attracting stars in FA anytime soon.
Agreed. Need to get out of Wembayana sweepstakes mentality. Trade for Myles Turner or Chet Holmgren instead and let's kick this rebuild into overdrive.
Spurs are promised Wemby. Imagine how many interviews they will do with Parker and Wemby. French connection. Parker becomes coach etc. Silver is like Vince McMahon.
Haven’t really watched much of the spurs. Is Murray a superstar? What team that has 4 frp’s would trade for him? Or a semi-star and 2 FRP’s? This just seems like click bait to me or Spurs fishing in OKC trade pool.
