This is an interesting topic. One of three scenarios plays out. 1. If the 3 SRP's rumors are true, Stone is looking to stash rights to foreign players. Possible this trade happens at the deadline, maybe he only gets 2 picks. 2. Your scenario, PJ takes a buyout to move on but I do not think this will happen. Dude is trying to get that last big contract. Rockets will try to buy him out on the cheap. He risks the possibility no one gives him that last big payday meaning he loses out on even more money. 3. PJ is a solid veteran. Maybe he gets traded for a young fringe star with size and high upside. Stone uses 1 or 2 of our newly acquired FRPs to seal the deal. SIde note, I could also see Gordon/House being traded and FRPs moving with them too. One thing is for sure, the roster will be slightly different by the end of February.
The buyout will be prorated and he will make that up on the next contract. Nets are pretty desperate for defense and just like Jordan got friends and family hookup, I bet Nets have said they would do the same for Tucker. Tucker is only really valuable to a contender nobody is trading him for any kind of fringe star or even a rotational player at this point. I just see him on the Nets somehow some way. There is no way Stone is trading FRP's this year IMO.
I think your random prediction is definitely possible going to have a very high chance to go either way.
Dude you are making zero sense, it was reported he had a 2 year 20 million offer so he had some leverage. He is the one that stopped negotiation if he lost leverage he would have taken the offer.
It has popped up several times in the garm and nobody has refuted it. It could be wrong and I could be totally off base but something has changed with him all of a sudden buying in and playing much harder in my eyes.
doubt it was anyone credible, that's why i was asking. Half the stuff posted in the garm are folks spit-balling and posting fake twitter trolls desperate for attention
I am also curious when in the world of financial negotiation do you leave a fair offer on the table when you have no leverage? I have never claimed that Tucker has had leverage so the question is moot.
And that's your right to doubt it but I have been here long enough to sniff out people just making **** up and posters who to listen to. Like I said it's speculation nobody is claiming sources.
you haven't been here that long. I wouldn't take some random posts of PJ getting an offer of $20 mil serious. but hey if people want to be gullible, sure
You're not good at answering questions. I'll answer yours when you answer mine. Maybe.. I don't know. Kind of tired of replying to someone who isn't checked in to the conversation.
