I'd love to get cousins. People need to understand in which situation he is. Hes trapped in SAC for 6 years now, has never made the playoffs and he just wants to win in a franchise that is destined to lose. They even draft bust after bust... I'd be hotheaded aswell.
What's the cost of someone like Jordan hill? Could we acquire him for the rights of allesandro gentile? He's always been a decent rebounder and would at least be a big body to help with depth. He doesn't play in Minnesota. He wouldn't hinder anything as we could just got brown again, and he has a team option next year. He could be motivated to play hard given he will have opportunity and playing time and the possibility of a new contract this off season.
This. Only people Houston are willing to get rid of are KJ, Brown, Ennis, Wiltjer, and maybe Brewer and Ouanku. No one wants these players. I'm more than happy to get rid of our 1st Rd pick or rights, but we also don't want a bad or long contract in return. I really think a 1st rd pick is not enough for Noel, who really is the perfect solution for right now.
Trade Ryan Anderson for Carmelo Anthony. Rockets get a third scoring option and you can play him at PF.
Is Andrew Bogut unrealistic? Mavs only gave up a 2nd round pick for him, I'm sure in their current situation, they'd take a 2nd round pick back in return. Throw in Brewer to make salaries work, and an extra 2nd round pick + KJ for them to take on Brewer's salary. You dump Brewer's contract and bring in a center who's on an expiring contract all in one move. And it's not like Dallas is unfamiliar with Corey, he won a ring there. - Houston sends Corey Brewer, KJ McDaniels, Denver's 2017 2nd round pick, Portland's 2017 2nd round pick. - Dallas sends Andrew Bogut.
Allow me to be in the minority here, don't care for Bogut but as a band aid I guess I'm fine with it. But hell naw to giving Dallas picks. They suck at free agency and their future is tied to Harrison Barnes, who is questionable as a franchise player. He's young though so I care nothing about potentially helping them acquire pieces to build around Barnes. I really want Noel but at the same time we just played an elite team to 2 points without needing a rim protector. We might just need a band aid here.
We need shot blocking badly. Clint is a threat to block a shot. None of our bigs now are real threats in that department
D'Antoni and Jordan Hill won't work... remember this?... “If Mike was here, I wouldn't be back,” Hill said. “That's the way it was. No disrespect to Mike, but apparently I didn't fit his system. Why would I come back?” http://nba.nbcsports.com/2014/10/22...d-with-lakers-only-because-mike-dantoni-left/ http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...ll-if-mike-dantoni-was-here-i-wouldnt-be-back
Frank Vogel already benched his top scorer Vucevic because he plays no defense. Why would he trade for a similar player in Okafor? Why would Philadelphia want Serge Ibaka when they already have too many bigs?
Nick young wanted to come here in the off season but morey rejected it (as per codman) and I doubt morey want to risk another ty Lawson situation and disrupt the teams chemistry. I would love Lou William though but he's having a great year for the lakers.
