The playmaking needs to come from the front court though, I'm not sure it's really practical to have 2 back court playmakers, i certainly haven't seen it ever work (maybe okc, but westbrook is like the nba's version of the lone wolf sniper who isn't part of the 5 on the floor, lol), an outside in and an inside out playmaker and you get balance. Two perimeters guys just creates replication.
I really wished people would stop acting as if they actually heard something coming out of the Rockets camp. It is no secret that certain players are being shopped. Stein and a few others has already reported this. So some of you really need to stop acting as if you actually know someone behind the scenes. How about post a picture with yourself and the Rockets scouts out together discussing Rockets business.
Code: Ahh, yes.. Mr. Insider bballholic. "Trade may be happening. Or it may not. And if it does its to one of the other 29 teams in the league. Stay tuned"
I said the same thing? I wouldn't be surprised if Hollic, Bobby, Malakas, etc. are all the same person using different accounts.
Not that Hollic has a good track record (at all). But you simply can't make up the Lawsons last year guarantee info that Hollic gave us like a day before it was announced. So he does know some sources, my guess is that he msg's people on the interwebs that have sources lol but never the less be does know somebody. Idk bout Malakas, he's definitely good for non insider info on the Bucks though.
lol jeez I am no insider. It was sarcasm. Maybe I should use green font? In a more serious note, I think that because there are so many teams so close in the rankings the chances of many trades and esp not at the end but from the beginning of the trade season (15/12) is high. Plenty of teams won't have the patience/luxury to wait longer for better deals when for example in the East the second and the tenth seed are separated by such a few games. Fournier/Oladipo, Nene (salary dump),someone of Scola /Ross/James Johnson, Any big from Boston ,Henderson, Kevin Martin, and then maybe Will Barton and Gallinari in my opinion will get traded. Thanx but I'm a she and also I read your thread in realgm trade forum and you have some very nice ideas and more importantly realistic and not homeristic.
Small 76 trade Jones & Brewer For Marshall & Grant Marshall is the point we should picked up in the off season. Grant is a 4/3 on a very friendly contract. Not as much as I would hope for Jones but we undo the Brewer contract --> he is a KMH player and needs to be rehomed. This is a $5M savings going forward --> Rehome or cut Lawson up to $17M savings. Bev starts but equal time with Marshall. Dekker and Grant play for Brewer's minutes. Does this make us a championship team? NO. Does it make us better? YES.
Impossible. Didn't you see how Hinkie went publicly and said that now all their problems will be fixed with the true guard that is Marshall and how he is their vet leader? They will be left without any point guard again and then they will be even more of a joke. Btw I wouldn't take on Marshall until I see how he looks more than one game after his return from the ACL.
I just ate alphabet soup and suddenly the letters I picked up with my spoon said "Trade for PF soon", I'll keep ya updated.
His knee is much like DMo's back... worth the wait, IMO. Marshall only makes $2M per year. I think that is a steal. 6 assist in 15 minutes on a bad team. PLUS he can shot from outside; he should have been in Rocket red.
I have often posited that holic and bobby are the same person, posting on a Dell as the former, turning to respond as the latter from his HP. Sometimes even engaging in a conversation: "Bobby, you're right on, Terrence sucks more ass than R. Kelly." Shift; leather chair creaks. Tap tap tap tap: "Holic, flattery will get you everywhere, but it doesn't solve our Jones problem." Siiiiips a 7&7, taps at other computer: "My sources say Phoenix and Brooklyn are interested..."
Will Barton would be awesome on this team. He's a more polished, skilled version of Brewer who can shoot.
