I've posted this idea before but I thought of a different version. Dmo (S&T), Brewer, OKC pick to Suns Chandler to Rocket Tucker to OKC Then KJ, Beasley + 2nd to Lakers for L.Williams Roster Beverley / Williams / Prigioni Harden / Gordon Ariza / Dekker Anderson / Nene / Harrell Chandler / Capela / Onuaku + two open roster spots
The other team has to say YES, too, for it to be a trade. Think about last off season's trade. We gave a lot of nothingness and got nothing in return --> Lawson. Had he been worth more the trade would not have happened. But Denver knew what they had and looking back we over paid. (I felt that way around the DRAFT.)
Lol. High ball iq (because they are "smart" unlike typical black players?) Deceptively athletic? "Deceptive" because you expect them not to be due to color of skin? While they both can possess those qualities, those aren't their defining traits. That's like saying two people are alike because they have eyes, ears, nose... Nash - all time floor general and shooting skills with pass first mentality Dragic - elite slasher and transition player Again, not very alike.
The thing I like best about your trades are the open roster spots.. DMo is a (S&T) with Anderson / Nene signings (I don't like them, yet --> over paid and old) Chandler and Nene on the same team in 2017. If it were '07--> YES, but it isn't '07. I want to keep DMo, but can DMo and Anderson play together? Rebounds. I understand you thoughts about Chandler but father time and his contract don't match. Random thoughts... Harden is our back up point. Like the Prigioni signing as a third string player. I hope, Dekker turns out to be something good. Till then we need a well rounded 3/4 that can rebound like a monster (Beasley is not the long term answer.) Would a Jerami Grant type of player be worth trading for or can we get player with same skill set from the D-league?
Top rebounding 4 in the NBA is Thomas Robinson based on Rebound Rate. But looking for an all around wing who can spread the floor, I say we go all in for Robert Covington. With Okafor/Noel on the trade block it could be possible to pull one of them in along with Covington. Ariza, Bev, Harrell, KJ, Dekker, and a few picks for Okafor and Covington Sign Norris Cole, Hinrich S&T Jones and a 2nd rounder for McLemore S&T DMo for Shabazz Muhammad Play Harden at the Point and Gordon at 2 Fill up the rest of the roster with decent vets/specialists Harden/Cole/Prigioni Gordon/McLemore/Hinrich Covington/Muhammad/Gentile Anderson/Beasley/Wiltjer Okafor/Capela/Onuaku Jones for McLemore provides more guard depth for us while giving Sacramento a decent (depending on your definition of the word "decent") player. Minnesota has a very young lineup but starting Kevin Garnett in a run and gun offense is only going to make things worse. Giving them DMo while also clearing up the roadblock they have in the PG-SF positions helps give them a young, well-rounded line up for the future.
No trades will happen until two or all of Bev, Gordon, Dekker, Anderson, DMo (if resigned) and NeNe are injured. This roster is so injury prone, smh.
This why I like TNB idea of 2 open roster spots going into the season and use 10 day contracts and an open mind. Look at talent from the Vipers alone. We should use the whole D-league in the season as needed for depth not just development of our signed players. Our whole team is fragile not telling what we will need and have used by seasons end.
Man all these trade rumors of celtics going for griffen, westbrook and cousins insane. Not sure why we couldn't get in the loop
The Bulls have too many backup pgs. There's a possibillity that Grant will get traded. They dont' have any good defensive wings at all. Perhaps dump Kj Mcmartyr for Grant. Also for S+T the biggest holes in pfs rotation are with Indiana, BKN, Toronto and Celtics. The Raptors have a joke of a big man rotation for a so called "contender". One injury to Valanciunas and they are done.
How can you be jealous of...RUMOURS? Rumours is rumours. They are not reality. They haven't brought a star yet. If you are familiar with Boston's antics you should know they make up fake rumours all the time.
3 team trade: Sacramento gets: Kevin Love, rights to Llull/Gentile Cleveland gets: Ariza (to defend KD), Beverley (take Delly spot) and Capela (replaces Mozgov), Houston 2018 protected 1st Houston gets: Boogie Cousins Everyone WINS!
Another good one. There's a ton of synergy for a trade in this vein. It's just a unique situation where we have exactly what Cleveland would want to replace Love. Still worried about replacing Ariza, but you figure that out later if you've got Boogie.
Loss of Ariza would be big, but acquisition of Cousins would be much bigger. Harden/Prigs/GP2 Gordon/KJ Brewer/Dekker (Gentile?) Anderson/Beasley/Harrell Cousins/Nene Could S&T D-mo (or trade Dekker/KJ) for a 3-D wing, or sign Lance Stephenson.
Don't think Lance is a fit. We need a glue guy. There's a part of me that "sees" something is going on. DMo hasn't resigned, and we haven't heard a pep out of him. Lebron hasn't signed. Why? Cleveland hasn't replaced Delly, who gave them 25 minutes per game last season. In fact, they let him walk the second he signed the offer sheet. Obviously Beverley is the perfect replacement for Delly. Then we hear Cleveland has interest in Ariza. Sacramento is interested in Gentile. It's very likely nothing. Still, breadcrumbs.
Disagree about Stephenson being a fit but not worth the quibble. James Joseph is almost as old as Prigs but is long 6-9, good defender and lights out 3 point shooter. Orlando may also release Devyn Marble who is good passer, scorer and gives effort on D. Better yet only 23.
