I dig it. Only problem is....we, nor Sacramento, have "picks galore" to give...Sacramento only has one 2nd round pick for 2018 and one 2nd round pick for 2020....Houston only has two 2nd round picks for 2017.
Ah, sorry about that then, I was going off of this site: http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed
And the 2nd rounders we have next year are pretty high quality IMO. Blazers will be mid 2nd round. Nuggets will be early 2nd round. Also in order to get more picks and do the same deal, players like Harrell, Onuaku, or overseas players could probably be shopped for some variety of picks.
You forget.... Durant has a player's option after year 1. OKC Big 3 reunion!! Westbrook Harden Durant Beasley Cousins
You get a max, you get a max, everybody gets a max. That would be perfect or if KD snubbed us Blake you get a max
I can't believe we couldn't beat the Lakers deal for Calderon. We couldn't send them a foreign guy who will never lace in the NBA, who was maybe younger? Couldn't take just 1 2nd rounder instead of 2? Calderon isn't near perfect, but for only 1 year and $7M, I don't think we are going to find anything close to as good and this team desperately needs another real PG, even if Harden and Gordon will handle the ball a lot. We can't expect Gordon to stay healthy and then all that is left is Harden and Bev. That is a disaster.
Pistons just got Boban. We could trade Brewer for Baynes and solidify our front court. Capella/Nene/Baynes Anderson/Dmo/Harrell Ariza/KJ/Dekker Harden/Gordon Brewer We just need a backup one
Houston Out-Capela, Brewer, Bev, 2nd round pick Houston in- Brook Lopez Houston out-Trevor Ariza, 2nd round pick Houston in-Brandon knight Sign free agents Kirk Hinrich and Pj Hairston Brandon/Hinrich/GP2 Gordon/KJ/Pj Harden/Gentile/Dekker Anderson/Beasley/Harrel Brook/NeNe/Onuaku During midseaons trade deadline trade Brook, Dekker, Hinrich and a first for Boogie or whatever combo of players wanted excluding Harden. Prob will need 2 first as well.
Rights to Gentile and Brewer for Robert Covington Sign Grevis Vasquez to a one year deal Beverley / Vasquez Harden / Gordon Ariza / Covington Anderson / Beasley Capela / Nene End of the bench - McDaniels, Dekker, Harrell, Onuaku, GPII
KJ and a 2nd for Lou Will Brewer and Harrell for Tyson Chandler Beverley / Williams / Payton Harden / Gordon Ariza / Beasley / Dekker Anderson / Nene Chandler / Capela / Onuaku
Imagine getting Rudy Gay off this bench? Instant Offense. Im raving salivating thinking about this. 35% 3 point shooter. Can score at will. We can get him for cheap. Fits dantonis offense to a T can be our 4 in dantoni offense. We can run a lineup of Dmo Anderson Gay Gordon Harden As our death lineup We can get him from dealing Brewer+ Harrell for Gay By using 6 mill of our cap And gay at this money of 13 mill is a bargain in new cap. Man oh man this could be a steal for Gay and in Dantoni offense this will score legit 140 a game
Let's think this through. There's available options and we have assets to deal. Gay, Vucevic, Bledsoe/Knight Trade Ariza for Gay Trade Capela and Brewer for Vucevic Trade Dmo & KJ from a S&T for Knight/Bledsoe or Bev & KJ Sign Lawson or Vasquez to run the offense off the bench in limited minutes Sign Troy Daniels Trade for Hollis Thompson Bledsoe,Knight/Lawson, Vasquez/GP3 Harden/Gordon/Daniels Gay/Thompson/Dekker Anderson/Beasley/Harrel Vucevic/Nene/Onuaku The starting lineup has 4 legit scorers and a streaky shooter The bench has a point guard to run the offense, 2 knockdown shooters, a veteran center and a decent stretch 4. The end of the bench is our D League roster
Why would the suns want that deal? Dmo isn't some prized player everybody wants to get their hands on. Plus Suns have a bunch of big men.
I know he isn't, hopefully we don't bring him back but I said him because the Suns are stacked at guards, small fowards and centers. Their power foward position needs time to grow. Bender & Chris's aren't ready to play big minutes yet from what they said on draft night.
