    S&T DMo for Rubio
Trade Ariza, Bev, 1st for Okafor
    Trade Brewer, McDaniels for Gay
Sign Barbosa, Scola, JR Smith, Kevin Martin

    Rubio/Barbosa/Payton
    Harden/Gordon/Martin
    Gay/Smith/Dekker
    Anderson/Scola/Harrell
    Okafor/Capela/Onuaku

Might as well have 0 defense and just try to outscore the opponent:grin:

But JR and Okafor would bring some pretty good defense to the team. D'Antoni could help shape Harden to be a spot up shooter as well as a playmaker and the fit with Rubio would be more suitable.

    Edit to this:
Do a 3 team with the Kings and Nuggets. Gay, McDaniels, overseas players to Denver. Gallinari to Houston. Chandler, Brewer to Kings.

Sign Gentile instead of Kevin Martin.

    Rubio/Barbosa/Payton
    Harden/Gordon/Gentile
    Gallinari/Smith/Dekker
    Anderson/Scola/Harrell
    Okafor/Capela/Onuaku

If this team could stay healthy...

Rudy Gay has fully transitioned into a PF. You do not want him playing on the wing.

I second this.... I don't think Presti is in the mood right now tho.

Does make a lil bit of sense as Brewer did play for Billy at UF

Trade Eric Gordon, Ariza, Bev, 2nd round pick for Russell Westbrook and a cheap player or late pick only if Westbrook signs an extension after the trade. Don't think this is possible ha, just wishful thinking...but I'd do everything I could to trade for him as long as he signs an extension afterwards.

It's a deal that makes sense for both teams. Certainly they aren't going to replace Durant, but they do need a wing to replace his minutes.

I don't think OKC needs or wants to bottom out 76ers style. They will get some great assets in return for Westbrook, and they've got an interesting combination of young players between Payne, Oladipo, Sabonis and Adams.

Houston wants shooting everywhere and needs insurance for an injury plagued Anderson. Ilyasova on a one year deal is a perfect fit for that role.

Or, if OKC chooses to keep Westbrook, I could be tempted into trading Ariza to them for Payne...

With the huge influx of guards on the lakers, is Lou Williams up for grabs?

Miami likely needs to clear cap space to keep Wade. That may trigger a firesafe on Josh McRoberts (who has 1-year left at $6M) with either zero or a minimum salary coming back.

Could or should we trade a non-guaranteed contract (i.e. Goudelock) for McRoberts...? Not sure at this point, I'd want to lose $6M in cap space for another (injury prone) stretch four when we have other holes to fill...however if someone signs DMo to a crazy $15M/year offer sheet, it would give us cheap depth with no commitment past this season.

Probably could of had him for free before all these crazy contracts being thrown around. He's on a dirt cheap contract, doubt they trade him now.

if OKC is shopping Westbrook before he walks, Morey needs to trade everything besides Harden for him. Harden + Westbrook with a bunch of scrubs can easily reach WCF every year and a chance to reach finals every year.

Would like Gay on the Roster for small ball, I think he could still defend the perimeter though...
    Gordon
    Harden
    Beasley
    Gay
Anderson....would score a blank lot of points

Gary Payton 2 should be our version of Avery Bradley, just not as good a shooter but better court vision and much better rebounder. G2 is actually bigger and stronger and a tick more explosive as well.

Nick Johnson was supposed to be our Avery Bradley as well, so who knows.

    We can all dream right?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jr2oo6d

I would add in any of our draft picks from this year and last year, rights to Gentile, Lull and anyone else we might have, and a 1st or two, a couple of 2nds maybe even too, in order to get OKC and the Kings to agree.

    Westbrook
    Harden
    Gay
    Anderson
    Capella

    Bench:
    Gordon
    Beasley
    DMo?

Add a decent backup PG and C, and you can compete with the Warriors and Cavs with this team.

My newest fascination is Andre Roberson. Great defensive wing that is a jumper away from being a very dynamic player. I wonder if there's an opportunity to get him with all the upheaval in OKC.

Something like Brewer, Harrell and a 1st for Roberson and Ilyasova.

    Nonononono.

He's not even as good as Thabo is on the defensive end.
