Lithuanian "media" quotes B/R without providing link, that Brewer + DMo to Lakers for Bass, Lou Williams, Ryan Kelly. Rumor they say.
No way Morey does this trade. Neither of those Lakers are better than DMo. But I guess if you want to get rid of Brewer you gotta give them something in return... But still - this trade doesn't help the Rockets at all, IMO.
He's also a great liability on defense and knows only how to iso on offense. If that sounds like I disagree with you, you're mistaken. I agree with you. He's better than DMo, that's why such trade makes sense only if Lakers want to improve their tank. Morey would do it in a second.
I think a trade like this works for all teams. Hopefully something like this goes down at the deadline. I think it makes every team better.
DDD That's hilarious. Am I the only one laughing at this?? This trade is good only for Rockets. Every single trade idea on this forum is blind homerism. Every. Single. Trade. Idea.
I still don't think much of him or Snell for that matter, but you proposed trading Ariza for him. I say trade garbage and only for his bird rights which would give option for next year in case Dwight is gone. The trade value he had pre injury to now is night and day. (and yes Lawson's value is garbage). Well if Ezeli was in any other team he would't be primed to get such a big contract, or look that well. (we still don't know what is going on with his injury tho). If Ezeli was in let's say the Hornets eh would be just another meh C.
Trade doesn't work because of the Rockets hard cap restrictions. And its Lithuanian media dreaming up trade scenarios to get one of their two NBA players to the Lakers.... enough said.
Lol one of the more stupid things I've read this season. No way DM trades Dmo for these guys. Bass could be had cheaper than that.
I doubt Grizz would deal Lee. But I would love to make an offer for him. If people remember he played "pg" for us for a short stint in the past. I could see him playing "PG" at the same time as Harden. I do not seem to get why he doesn't generate much hype. He is an elite defender and efficient offensive player. Exactly what this team needs. Sadly, I highly doubt he could be had at Moreys bargaining price. *PG is in quotes because Lee was just deibbling the ball up the court. Wasn't actually creating offense. But boy did he lock down CP3.
Trade 1: Trevor Ariza to Atlanta for Jeff Teague Trade 2: Beverley, Brewer and Lawson to Brooklyn for Joe Johnson and Shane Larkin http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=zt6rr28 Houston gets two PGs on reasonable deals in Teague and Larkin, plus a $25 million expiring contract in Joe Johnson to clear cap space to chase Durant, Barnes or Batum this summer.
The Rockets maintain their flexibility for free agency, Grizz get young and Suns free them selves of Markieff while bringing in some solid vets.
Never know he is Unrestricted this summer it would be foolish to not entertain a reasonable offer for Courtney. Much like the Atlanta Hawks are doing with point guards Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder, Memphis is doing the same with free agents-to-be Jeff Green and Courtney Lee. Which is to say: not flat-out shopping them, but taking the temperature of the market for both players, since that’s what you’re supposed to do with players like Green and Lee who can leave Memphis without compensation in a matter of months. 2 weeks ago – via ESPN.com Free Agency, Courtney Lee, Jeff Green, Jeff Teague, Atlanta Hawks, Memphis Grizzlies http://hoopshype.com/player/courtney-lee/
Nvmd openlayup hes a troll. I think this is very fair except for Memphis. I think they would require a pick or another assert like maybe Harrell. They are losing 2 rotation wings and expiring for a negative value contract and taking a chance on a young wing. So throw in Harrell and maybe a 2nd and I think they deal. I could see Phoenix doing this but then again Idk now that horny got fired and kieff is balling again. Might be worth it to just wait it out instead of selling low. I think morey would easily do this trade . Personally I think a smaller deal with just Memphis is possible. Something like kj/tj for lee/2nd would be feasible and something I would be happy with.
I remember when Danny wanted ASIK bad for bass+Lee+high1st for ASIK And morey didn't want it because he didn't like the pick & wanted to stay flexible How's that Dekker (N.O pick) Been working for us ?
