1. Noel is probably a Tyson Chandler type center. Isn't going to develop significantly on the offensive end. And he's probably at peak trade value with his current development and still one year left on his rookie deal. If they wait to trade him until next season's deadline, then he's a pending free agent and his trade value and market decreases significantly. So, if they're gonna move out Noel it will likely be before the deadline or during the summer. I'm pretty sure from some of the things I've heard since last summer (3 different sources) that Hinkie would like to deal him for as big a pile of assets as possible. 2. The hiring of Colangelo and D'Antoni in Philly though have thrown a little kink in Hinkie's ability to transact (I was told by one source). Those moves were predicated by Silver. Hinkie (allegedly) isn't happy at all with being forced into moves but is keeping it on the down low to avoid aggravating Silver further. Now Hinkie has to deal with another voice in the front office besides his own. The Ish Smith trade was evidence of that. Hinkie would have NEVER NEVER given up 2 second rounders for Ish. Because that's 2 assets out the window and a few more wins and a few less ping-pong balls with Ish out there fishing and dishing. 3. One other tidit, Hinkie would deal Okafor for Cousins in a New York second. Cousins and Embiid are a crazy 5/4 combination on both ends IF Embiid ever gets healthy. ============================ These are all sourced to different degrees. I'm super confident in #1. Verified by multiple sources and at different times. Don't feel as comfortable with #2 because it only came from one source one time. But thought I'd give it to you since it could affect the current situation with Noel. #3 is sourced only once as well but when I heard it I thought it made a lot of sense based on #1 being true, knowing that Hinkie views both Noel and Okafor as half-a-center, Okafor with the O and Nerlens with the D, and neither player really capable of becoming a difference-maker on the other end of the strength of their games.
There was an allusion to Joakim Noah recently. I can verify he has been discussed as well. (as has Nene)
Bballholic what are you hearing on Z-Bo and Ryan Anderson? Are their price tags higher because we're in the same division? I personally would love Pau. I just think he wants to be in Memphis with his brother. Wonder if we can work a 3 team deal with Chicago and Memphis?
Nothing recent on ZBo. Heard a while back that Pau wants to close out his career in MEM with Marc and that MEM wants that to happen and therefore they are looking for takers for ZBo. So, most logically a 3-team deal with CHI getting a wing for Pau and ZBo going to the third team is what I was told they were trying to make happen. But like I say, that's been several weeks(months) ago and I haven't heard anything since on that. Nothing on Anderson/Markieff stuff in a while either. But lots of conflicting info on Anderson, whether we want him for us or to flip somewhere else along with other assets for something better. Lots of mixed info on Anderson. I don't know what to make of it.
So did I stumble into a pay site on accident, or did I win a free giveaway or something? I'm pretty sure we are seeing Jopat insider info here galore and I'm not even lucky enough to be enrolled into his insider site. Its like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and my birthday all in one day!!!
Brewer & jones & maybe someone else(Sam Dekker) for Noah Bev/Ty/Terry Harden/thorton/Kj Ariza/Thorton Noah/Dmo/harrel Howard/Capella Let Ty/Harden/Dmo/Capella start to develope and reck off the bench
Its truly unbelievable. He's taking info from articles that came out a few days ago, twisting a few things here and there, and claiming to have insider sources. To have the audacity to claim rumors he's hearing about Pau wanting to play with Marc as something special he's sharing with us is truly dumbfounding. Are people that dumb to buy his bull sh#$? And you'd think someone who literally speculates and makes predictions about pretty much every single player in the NBA 24/7 you'd think he'd get SOMETHING write every once in awhile. What's even sadder is people here are still gullible enough to keep on asking this idiot for insider info.
Mirotic is bad. He doesn't have a position defensively and offensively he really lacks confidence. If the Rockets make this type of deal, it is for the long term.
I have no problem with him doing this. Every time he exposes himself like this I see a spike in new members on my pay per rumor site. For reference it's www.realsportscoops.com "If you like real sorts and real scoops, Real Sport Scoops is for you!"
Pau has been trying to get to Memphis for almost 2 years now. And Memphis has been trying to get him there. And I've been telling you about it all along and in greater detail than any scoops from the media.
Hahahaha.... really? By the way, this is coming from a quote from TWO YEARS ago. http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...a-return-to-memphis-to-play-with-brother-marc Yeah you really have been out in front of this rumor Hollic.
So Morey finally did it. He executed the first entire team roster trade.

No players pictures in front of Toyota Center. Here's a couple of my early posts (among many) about Pau wanting to go to Memphis and Memphis wanting to pair the brothers up. You'll find these posts and others preceded Scott Howard - Coopers article, dodo.
I want to get it...if feel like the only person here that doesn't...am I missing something? Is this supposed to be a hint at something? If so, what???? HELP ME.....ugh....
If we beat the Cavs tonight, I think Morey will hang on to Jones and Brew. Remember, Lawson is always expendable.
Cavs will be playing on a back to back after playing a tough game in San Antonio last night. I'm guessing they will be tired. Honestly don't think beating them should have much of a bearing on Jones/Brew.
But this year, we've been losing games like this. Winning this would mean we may have turned the corner. One of Jones/D-Mo is getting traded. Lawson does not fit here. His contract can be moved because its expiring, you'd just have to combine him with assets (KJ, D-Mo or Jones, picks, etc) to get a nice return. I think Morey is reluctant to move Brewer. He's finally playing well and was a key piece to last year's success. Now that the team is playing well, I doubt he gets moved unless we slip again.
