So why didn't we get Nash for Lin?

The TPE plays better defense than Nash.

    I'm good with that...tell murray I approve...

or I'd gamble on the 1 year rental for Monroe instead of Ilyasova...

sprinkle in whatever euros (lull, etc..) that Pho or Det want... add in any 2nd rd picks we have (nyk + ?)... (Dorsey, Adrien, Covington, etc... could be added if desired...)....

    make it happen, Murray!

The Suns would probably want Nick Johnson and the TPE instead of Capela. But if you could send Capela and another piece to Milwaukee and bring back a healthy Delfino with Ilyasova then the Rockets would be serious contenders.

I disagree, people are forgetting Capela was selected in the first round, and 17 picks BEFORE Johnson, he is much more valuable.

Most people here are overrating Johnson due to a summer league performance that doesn't mean much, and underrating Capela because he missed the summer league and is a international pick, so nobody's really seen him play. Doesn't change that nba teams and scouts value Capela much higher. If we get to keep Capela and send Johnson instead, we'd be getting a better deal.

Crazy unrealistic trade idea, but possible since both Dragic and Monroe will be free agents in 2015, and neither likely to return since if Suns re-sign Bledsoe.

Gee, Jones, Canaan and Pelicans 1st for Dragic

Motiejunas, Capela and Johnson for Monroe

Throw in our 2017, 2019 first, future seconds, rights to Llull, Gentile as sweeteners if needed in either trade.

    PG: Dragic, Beverley, Smith
    SG: Harden, Daniels, Hopson
    SF: Ariza, Papanikolaou, Covington
    PF: Monroe, Adrian, Powell
    C : Howard, Dorsey

Here's what makes those trades even better, we'd be keeping Hopson, Powell and Covington's non guaranteed contracts and our full TPE, so we'd have plenty of flexibility to make trades at the deadline for even more roster upgrade. We'd also still have our full BAE to sign another free agent, so there would be tons of potential growth even after those big trades.

I can't disagree with you. I have no idea what these international players are worth. I mean, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how a second round pick with 0 NBA experience is worth 4.8 mill.

    Scouts and basketball organizations do!

And Capela is worth a late first round pick in a stacked draft.

Johnson is worth a mid second round draft pick in the same stacked draft.

Capela is more valuable then Johnson until either Capela has a huge injury, or Johnson proves so in the nba.

    ****! lol

My bad I thought you said I disagree with you, not I can't disagree, read it wrong sorry.

Anyways, I'm no scout either, my source of Johnsons and Capela's worth is the draft and nothing else.

Deduct 1M for the buyout and take into account that teams have to overpay for short term deals, ie 1 yr guaranteed only with team option.

Every player is a 2way player & take pride in their defense. Harden scoring would be covered by Bledsoe. The TEAM would look different but this TEAM is built to win. Every position has to be covered and every position is a plus player. The bench is solid as well. This TEAM would win many championships. Not a star at every spot but a better than average player that can put up 20+ pts on any given night.

I didn't know that his buyout was included in the cap hit but it still seems kinda steep for Morey's standard. Hers to hoping the kid is worth it though!

What kinda logic are u using? harden is 25 yo still. You are trading a proven star for bledso? in what sense is that a dream trade for the rockets? and don't give me the defense crap plz.
