Lmao are you serious? No brainer for the Rockets but no chance in hell the Lakers and Spurs does this. Lakers aren't gonna give up Julius Randle for LOL Jones.
Assuming Pacers and Hibbert are still having trouble... ROCKETS IN: Goran Dragic Gerald Green SUNS IN: Roy Hibbert PACERS IN: T Jones Capela NOP 1st round pick via Rockets
Why would the Suns take Hibbert, and keep Plumlee and Len? This trade would be fine if you send one of those two to the Pacers or Rockets. But also, Pacers would have 3 PFs who could possibly start. West, Scola, Jones. It's just kinda bad. Talent wise it's relatively even but you're filling holes that are already filled.
3 way with the Suns and Pistons. Been warming to this idea after seeing this a couple days ago. Detroit: TPE and NOP 1st Phoenix: Monroe Rockets: Dragic Solves everyone's problems
Accept Phx has Plumlee & Len at C along with Morris & Morris S.Randolph , Anthony Toliver and TJ Warren to play the forward spot. While Monroe is a very good player he comes with no bird rights .... Its not likely Phx can resign him this offseason. They wont have the cap space required to sign him without those bird rights. Phx has a lot of money tied up at the forward already and are thin at the wing spots ..... But lets send them Monroe ^^ and make their wing spots thinner by taking away a combo guard in Dragic. Getting Charlotte involved and sending Stephenson to Phx would be a much better fit for them.
Detroit would have to get either Len/Plumlee as well as a shooter, like Troy Daniels (Rockets need to make room on roster anyway).
Is there any chance Nelson could get bough out from Boston? If he is willing to accept a vet contract he could be back up PG while Canaan can be the insurance guard. We can then use the exception on a better 4 or 5 like Taj Gibson/Mozgov/Plumlee Bev/Nelson/Canaan Harden/Terry Ariza/Kostas/Garcia Gibson/DMO Howard/Black I think DMO can be a great sixth man.
Rockets current roster: P.G. - Beverley / Canaan S.G. - Harden / Terry / Daniels S.F. - Ariza / Papanikolau / Garcia P.F. - Jones / Motiejunas / Black ..C. - Howard / Dorsey NOW, tell me, where is our weakest link? 1 spot. Back up 5. Rockets main goal this trade deadline should be picking up a rotational big to play 10 - 15 minutes for Howard and maybe more depending on Howard's health. That is our most crucial spot right now. You can argue that we need a more elite Point Guard but I'm not so sure. As long as Beverley and Canaan are hitting their 3's, playing hard nosed D and not turning the ball over they fit great. Is there a 4 out there we can trade for without gutting our bench and a starter? Doubtful. Barring gettting a top 5 talent at the 1 or the 4 this team needs a backup Center and we are going to have to ride that wave to the playoffs.
ROCKETS IN: Goran Dragic SUNS IN: Brandan Wright CELTIC IN: Kostas Papanikolaou Capela NOP 1st round pick via Rockets
Holy cow boston makes out like bandits. They'd essentially get a dallas lottery 1st, NOP lottery 1st, 2nd rounder, Capella (1st round pick), KPap for rondo. No way we give up the NOP pick for wright when we wouldn't give it for rondo.
I think we should trade for David West and trade the TPE for Corey Brewer. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=l4y57yv Rockets * IN: David West (PF/C), CJ Watson (PG) and Salomon Hill (SF) * OUT: Jason Terry (SG/PG), Papa (SF/PF) and T. Jones (PF) and several draft picks (such as the 2nd rounder NY) Pacers * IN: Jason Terry (SG/PG), Papa (SF/PF) and T. Jones (PF) and several draft picks (such as the 2nd rounder NY) * OUT: David West (PF/C), CJ Watson (PG) and Salomon Hill (SF) Rockets Line-up: * PG: Bev/Watson/Canaan * SG: Harden/Brewer/Johnson/Daniels * SF: Ariza/Hill/Garcia * PF: West/D-Mo * C: Howard/Black/Dorsey I know Terry and Papa are playing very well, but we have to upgrade the PF spot. Yes, I also know D-Mo is playing amazing right now. I don't know if we have to include the Pelicans pick, I hope not. Why for Houston? West and Watson bring veteran leadership and toughness. Hill and Brewer playing in the second unit could be huge, IMO. Why for the Pacers? Papa and TJones are very good talents and Terry is a very decent veteran on an expiring contract. Maybe the center back-up spot is still 'weak', but West could play some minutes at the 5. We can still package Daniels/Dorsey/draft picks for a decent back-up center. John Henson? http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kb52uek
ROCKETS IN: Goran Dragic SUNS IN: Spencer Hawes NOP 1st round pick via Rockets CLIPPERS IN: Corey Brewer TIMBERWOLVES: TPE via Rockets 2nd round pick via Clippers
That's what I'm asking? I'm seeing all these "proposed trade scenarios", I thought HOU was supposed to have a deal in place by today! Where is it?
Why is it that we have thousands of these posts on here and nothing is said about it? So childish and annoying. I think I'm going to go back to referring to Terrence as _ones.
