No... I guess this would take away From Howard's money. Wouldn't care too much about SF if we had a line up of: Howard, Harden,LMA though

    Howard is priority#1

Since this rumors has been squashed by Clutch...the point is moot.

If the Bobcats were serious about trading MKG, The Rockets couldve packaged this year's 2nd round pick plus a conditional 2nd rounder or cash considerations at a future year plus Thomas Robinson.

The Rockets giving Minny Dmo(essentially like a top tier/10 draft pick) plus Asik(who replaces Pekovic), and MKG via Bobcats.

The Love thought process was primarily if the Timberwolves are at risk of losing him at the end of next season via restricted FA, might as well try getting some value from Love. While they might want more, DMo a versatile PF/C with tremendous offensive weapons and paired with a top tier defensive 7 foot specialist, and athletic wing in MKG:
    Their Lineup would be:
Asik, Derrick Williams, MKG, Shved, and Rubio (that is a very nice lineup for Adelman)

For the Rockets its obvious: Love would fit very well with this system, and combining Howard, Love, and Harden, with Parson and Lin...that is a contending team imo.

But all of this was a nice hypothetical...and the MKG rumors were squashed

why do people keep putting CP in trade ideas for less ideal players. Parsons production alone is figured in around 11 million. Im not looking at hey well this guy makes 11 million, seems fair! No, just no I want 11 million worth of production minimum, or NO

I am wondering if the TRob deal is a 3-way with Boston/Cleveland. We send TRob to Boston for their pick and their 3 non-guaranteed deals. We then send the Boston pick to Cleveland for their pick and one of their second rounders and their 3 non-guaranteed contracts. That would give us $7.2 million in non-guaranteed deals with Delfino/Brooks still possibly flipped for more non-guaranteed deals.

What's the benefit of flipping non guaranteed Delfino/Brooks for more non guaranteed? Does it still create some trade exceptions or something?

If we can flip them for contracts that have no guarantee date then we can carry those guys on the roster throughout the summer and possibly develop a S&T for Dwight while at the same time cutting them at any time over the next couple months and signing him outright. If we get the 9 non-guaranteeds from Boston, Cleveland, and the Clippers, we only need one more non-guaranteed contract without a guarantee date to really be able to get to $15.5 million in salary to send out for Dwight in a S&T.

And yes, depending on how the trades are organized it could yield multiple trade exceptions as well.

Interesting. I definitely didn't think about the non guaranteed guys not having the date. Mm mm, I do love flexibility.

What do you all think of a John Wall/James Harden backcourt? In the 4 years he's been with the Wizards, they've been unable to surround him with much.
They've drafted abysmally, and have gone from bad to worse. A lot of folks will want to blame it on Wall himself, but the problem in DC is much deeper than just Wall himself. We have a lot of young assets we can offer.

    Rockets Receive: M. Kidd-Gilchrist & Jeff Adrian.

76ers Receive: Omer Asik & Ramon Sessions.

Bobcats Receive: Thomas Robinson, Evan Turner, and S. Hawes.

Rockets Shed a ton of salary

If the Bobcats want Thomas Robinson, the Rockets could flip MKG to Atlanta for picks #17 & #18.

I'm not sure MKG fits so well what the Rockets want to add compared to who they may be able to draft.
