that actually has to do with an article a chicago writer for eson CHICAGO wrote... he asked if it was possible to trade noah for k.mart... martins value is high again since he has been tearing it up as late nad noahs is down since he has been gettin benched for asik and gibson down the stretch in the 4th why not... but since i understand C's carry more trade value is why i gave up probably the best contract in the league in c.bud's less thatn a mill contract for a solid role player who was a starter for a butler who gets hardly any minutes... that makes up whatever difference in value noah has over martin... dont believe the noah for martin thing go back a few pages or look up espn chicago for the article...
My lordy. If Martin can net us Noah, then Dwight will be on the first Houston flight out of Orlando on March 15.
(After the 2mth restriction is up) Rockets trade- Dalembert, Lee, Hill, Scola, Get- Smith, Splitter, Green, Hawks 2nd pick Lowry/ Dragic Martin/ Green Parsons/ Bud Smith/ Patterson Splitter Hawks trade- Smith, 2012 2nd rd pick (top-44 protected), Get- Dalembert, Hill, Bonner Teague/ Hinrich J.J/ Green Williams/ T-mac Horford/ Vlad Dalembert/ Hill Spurs trade- Green, Splitter, Bonner, Get- Scola, Lee (when everyone is healthy) Parker/ Ford Manu/ Lee RJ/ Lenoard Scola/ Blair Duncan
If New Jersey and Orlando get desperate to find a dance partner at the trade deadline, here are some random ideas: Trade for Deron Williams: Lowry, Patterson, Budinger, Thabeet and remove the Lotto protection from the pick we owe them. Gives NJ a good/ near all star PG going forward, a talented young PF, a low priced potentially starting SF, an extra 1st rounder, and a good cap space to re-re-build. Trade for Howard (and unfortunately Turkgolu): Martin, Dalembert, the Knicks 1st rounder, Morris, Donatus, 2014 1st rounder, and cap filler of (Twill and Flynn). This way the Magic, who already have Davis and Anderson at PF, don't take on Scola's deal. The Magic get a top 10 scorer in Martin, a starting C for next year, an extra 1st rounder (maybe in lotto), promising players in Morris and Donatus and save money and shed a bad contract to rebuild in the future. Houston would be left with: C- Howard, Hill PF- Scola, Adrien (help from Turk) SF- Turk, Parsons SG-Lee (help from Dragic) PG- Williams, Dragic It'd be toughing giving up so much young promising talent like Morris, Donatus, and the 3 1st round picks in the next 3 years -- but if Morey has done anything, it is shown that he can find a way late in drafts and in the 2ns round to steal productive players to assist in the rotation. So, do these trades potentially make sense for desperate NJ and ORL franchises that are both run by sub-par GM's?
Here's another trade proposal, for fun. This only works if: New Orleans wants to take a look at some young talent before they hit free agency to see if they are interested in trying to resign some of them, and IF New Jersey can't land Dwight and is forced to trade Deron Williams. Spoiler If a trade like this were to go down, it would open up a few roster spots for Donatas, possibly Llull, and an extra spot to sign Greg Smith if needed. This would also keep a good amount of cap space open to make a run at Dwight in free agency. If this trade were to happen and it all blew up in our faces (Deron goes to Dallas and leaves us with nothing), we have no choice but to tank. Also, there would most likely have to be picks sent to New Jersey and maybe a 2nd rounder to New Orleans.
It would have to be the other way NOH is getting young talent for a vet they dont play and have no interest in playing. If they were taking on contracts, that would be different but everyone to NOH is an expiring. They get the benefit of playing them out to see if they like what they see.
Patterson, Hill, and Lee ...for... Lopez, Morris and 2012 2nd round pick Patterson = Morris - marketing the twins Lopez > Hill at center - better choice than Kaman long term - if we can resign him. He would be a nice fit with Donatas Motiejunas, too. Lee is not signed so better a high 2nd round pick than nothing at all. High 2nd round picks are better than low 1st round picks - basicly the same player for a fraction of the cost.
how about trade scola+2nd rd pick for diaw..? the contracts match up evenly and while scola's contract is crappy we compensate that with a pick... plus diaw expires at the end of year...which means more money for morey to do who knows what with...

Do ya'll think the Suns would do this deal? What are the thoughts of Donatas Motiejunas as an NBA player. Do ya'll think he is a player that can anchor a team. Is he a future "All-Star" we should build around. I think he will be like a LaMarcus Aldridge type maybe better rebounder. With a big body next to him the sky may be the limit. Robin Lopez is that big body IMO. The two are so young, too.
