Caveat -- I have a huge bias toward Bargnani and think he's been playing out of position his whole career. Guy is a stretch four. Another caveat -- this is definitely a dream scenario for me. Now: Rockets get -- Pau/Bargnani/Derozan Raptors get -- Lowry/Scola/Morris/Dallas pick Lakers get -- Calderon/Martin/Patterson/Jones Rockets (get big men and young, cheap starting guard -- assuming we get Asik and Lin here) Lin/Livingston Derozan/Lamb Parsons/White Pau/Bargs/ Asik/D-Mo/Leuer Raptors (shed DeRozan whom they don't care for, get pg for future, potential in Morris, Scola to help along Jonas) Lowry Ross Johnson/Morris/Kleiza Scola/Davis Jonas/Johnson Lakers (open up a bunch of cap by ditching Pau, get very capable pg, CP in '13 campaign in full force) Calderon/Blake Kobe/Martin Peace Patterson/Jones Bynum/McRoberts Again, a dream scenario for me, personally.

At season's end, this organization needs change!! Fire: GM Daryl Morey & Coach Kevin McHale Hire: Thunder's Assistant GM Troy Weaver Pacers Assistant Coach Brian Shaw
Rockets are running out of options but still have a ton of assets. I still think our best bet is to take advantage of Memphis' poor salary cap situation and trade for Rudy Gay and Tony Allen. We may have to overpay. Martin/Parsons/Patterson/Jones for Allen/Gay Lowry/Macahdo?Fortsen?FA? Allen/Lamb Gay/white/morris Scola/D-Mo Asik/Camby Great defense, all Mchale type players with the exception of Lamb and this team doesn't have a hole. Thoughts?
Hopefully offers are matched for both Asik & Lin Trade 1: Lowry/Scola/Jones to TOR for Calderon/Ross/lottery protected 1st Trade 2: Lamb/Morris/Dal 1st for Bledsoe/Leslie Trade 3: Martin to UTAH for Jefferson Bledsoe, Calderon Ross, Leslie Parsons, White Motiejunas, Patterson Jefferson, Camby(resign)
now that Dragic is a Sun again and that Lowry is gone cant we try to trade with Phoenix to get Kendal Marshall to run the team ? if we truly rebuild we have to find a young pg imo, and he wont play much with the suns
Kevin Martin for Devin Harris and the Rockets 2013 1st via Brooklyn. Rockets get their pick back, make the Haws a lock to finish with a better record than the Raptors. Hawks give up little to get a quality player, without losing their cap flexibilty. Who says no?
That's not a bad move at all. Both are expiring, it's redundant to have teague and Harris both on the roster, and we have a pg if all goes wrong plus our pick back.
Yeah, I don't think it's a bad move, although thinking about it, I guess the Rockets might be the team that wouldn't do it. Not a great deal of urgency to trade back for our pick anymore, as we now won't be a bubble playoff team anymore and might not be in the market to trade future picks of our own either. Still, it doesn't appear that there's great market for Martin out there. Also wouldn't help if Martin gets dealt to an Eastern team that as of right now might be battling with the Raptors for the playoffs. The Hawks throw in the Rockets 2013 2nd rounder, which we traded to ATL for David Andersen, but that obviously wouldn't be too much of a sweetener either.
Change in Team Outlook: +1.1 ppg, +3.7 rpg, and +3.8 apg. Is there anyway we can get our hands on Eric Bledsoe? He's got potential and the clips have Crawford and Billups. What about a S&T with Lee and Camby (can we even do that) for Bledsoe and Gomes' expiring?
Can we just get Eric Bledsoe? The guy is third string and can start in this league. I doubt the clips want to part with him but worth a look?
With the possibility of losing Chris Paul, the Clippers would be pretty reluctant to give up on Bledsoe when he's been so promising.
Maybe we can get him next season if Chris Paul resigns with the team. Especially if we strike out on everybody this season. Cause I'm sure their keeping him for insurance in case he leaves.
Scenario if Lin and Asik offer sheets are matched. Martin, S&T Camby, Morris, Dallas pick (possibly) for Bledsoe and Jordan. Bledsoe/Livingston Lamb Parsons Scola/Ppat Jordan
