http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=79m8rlw Orlando trades: Dwight Howard, Hedo Turkoglu Orlando receives: Pau Gasol, Kyle Lowry, (our young players/picks/cash???) Orlando gets two talented players in Gasol/Lowry, rid themselves of Hedo's hideous contract, and potentially add some young talent or picks. Los Angeles trades: Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol Los Angeles receives: Dwight Howard, Luis Scola, Hedo Turkoglu Los Angeles gets Dwight Howard. 'Nuff said. Houston trades: Kyle Lowry, Luis Scola, (young players/picks/cash???) Houston receives: Andrew Bynum Houston takes a chance on an infinitely talented but injury-prone center. What do we have to lose? Who says no?
Trade Lowry,Scola, Lamb, White and a future protected first rounder to Orlando for Dwight and turkey glue. Sign Eric Gordon to his 4 year 58 million through sign and trade with hornets. Give them Martin and jones or Patterson. Resign Courtney lee at 5.5 million. Resign dragic and give him his 10 million. Dragic/ Livingston Gordon/Lee Parsons/Hedo/ Morris DMo/jones or ppatt Dwight/ Camby
dont see that S/T happening with gordon. why wouldnt they just match the offer and keep gordon? They want to build around him. And IF they were to get rid of them, theyd want a lot more than just k mart and jones or patterson.
where is Von Wafer? Ish Smith and Von Wafer? Can the rockets pursue Ish the dish Smith? Whatever happened to Von Wafer?
<END GAME PLAN> if chicago wants to match asik, then they will likely have to give up noah who is a slightly better but more expensive player. they probably want to save their amnesty in case boozer or rose's recovery has complications. that's where morey comes in and says, "why not trade noah instead to the rockets?" STEP1. noah for martin + jones + pick chicago gets a legit 2nd scorer, keep the interior presence in asik at a cheaper price, and get another big that fits thibadeux's system and dallas' pick. STEP2. rox actually parlay noah and sends him over to orlando with lowry and patterson for dwight rental. STEP3. Let dragic go and waive everyone else that is required to offer a max contract to D will to welcome him back to Texas. Dwight/Smith Scola/Motiejunas/White Parsons/Morris Lee/Lamb DWil/Livingston WIN!!!
The "We won't tank ever" possible moves 1. Martin, T. Jones for Ellis 2. Lowry, Scola, Morris for Gasol Sign Dragic. Let Lee and Camby walk. Dragic/Livingston Ellis/ Lamb Parsons/ White Gasol/ Ppat/ Leuer Asik/ Dmo/ Smith

if Chicago matches Asik's proposed offer from us I would like to see this trade. Don't know if Orlando will take but who knows in reality what they are looking for. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7v6pv4m
The only reason I see Chicago doing it as I said is if they happen to match Asik offer from us. They will have to shed some salary because the way the deal for Asik is structured that third year will really hurt them. So if they really value Asik they might explore trading Noah to shed salary. With Martin they get that scoring punch at shooting guard that they need and aftar that Martin's contract expires.
*Considering the Joe Johnson trade goes through* I think this trade makes sense considering now that Hawks need a scorer shooting guard plus they get young talent as they are looking to rebuild. Maybe we could throw in a second round pick.
Houston: Lowry Scola Martin Morris One of White/Jones/Lamb pick for Atlanta: Horford Smith Willams The Rockets take on 2 years of Williams to get their franchise C in Horford. Atlanta clears cap for the rebuild and gets young talent.
Marvin Williams just got traded...

Just going online and on SportsCenter: Hawks have agreed in principle to deal Marvin Williams to Utah for Devin Harris to shed even more $
— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) July 2, 2012

Okay so if I'm going to make a random trade.....I'm going to shoot for the stars. Assuming Rockets land Asik in free agency. 1st Houston sends to Orlando: Lowry, Martin, Motiejunas Orlando sends to Houston: Dwight 2nd: Houston sends to Brooklyn: SnT Dragic, Scola, Lamb Brooklyn sends to Houston: SnT Dwill 3rd (at the trade deadline): Houston sends to Atlanta: Omer Asik, Chandler Parsons, White Atlanta sends to Houston: Josh Smith The perfect storm comes together... Also I'd be willing to throw in T.Jones(preferably M.Morris) if a team is hesitant on pulling the trigger.
Bulls don't match Asik making him ours. Gordon wants to go to Houston and asks NO to sign and trade him there. Trade with New Orleans Martin+ rights to Llull + Terrence Jones for Gordon (12.9mil per year - his max I believe) Highly Complex trade with Orlando/Lakers/Minnesota/Houston http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6n9ypbj Houston Get: Dwight Howard Minnesota Get: Gasol LAL Get: Scola + Derrick Williams Orlando Get: Lowry + M.Webster + B.Miller + M.Morris + J.Leuer + rights to F.Aldemir + future DAL draft pick. I think the weak link in this trade is LA probably want more and Orlando probably isn't getting as sweet a deal as they need to. So the teams would look like this: Houston Dwight/Asik Patterson/DMo Parsons/White Gordon/Lamb Dragic/FA PG Minnesota Gasol/Pekovic/Milicic Love/Gasol Budinger/Hummel Johnson/Ellington Rubio/Ridnour/Barea Orlando Leuer/? Davis/Nicholson/O'Quinn Turkoglu/Q.Richardson/Morris J.Richardson/Redick/Wafer Lowry/Duhon LAL Bynum/? Scola/McRoberts World Peace/D.Williams Bryant/? Sessions/Blake Orlando and LAL really do have some holes to fill...
This is it! Change in Team Outlook: -8.6 ppg, -2.6 rpg, and -0.5 apg. rockets trade - lowry, scola, patterson lakers trade - gasol, 2nd round pick(s) rockets trade - martin, royce white sixers trade - andre iguodala bulls don't match asik. resign dragic once he realizes no one is going to meet his contract demands. hopefully bring back lee as well. pg - dragic/random backup sg - lee/lamb sf - iguodala/parsons pf - gasol/jones c - asik/donatas gasol and iguodala play big minutes, the other 3 perimeter/post guys split the remainder fairly evenly.
I'd start Parsons at the 2. We'd have one of the best defenses in the league. 3 of the best perimeter defenders, along with two very good shot-blockers.
