Sounds good. I like it. Move Dalembert+1st round picks+Pat for Evans and Hayes. Move Martin+WP+Bud for Derrick Williams+Millicic. Dragic/Lull Evans/Lee Williams/Parsons/ Hayes/D-Mo Gasol/Camby
- Trade Kevin Martin to the Utah Jazz for Al Jefferson. - Trade Kyle Lowry & Luis Scola to the Sacramento Kings for the 5th pick in the 2012 draft, John Salmons, & Francisco Garcia. - Draft Bradley Beal with the 5th pick. - Draft Kendall Marshall with the 14 pick. - Draft Meyers Leonard with the 16th pick. - Resign Goran Dragic, Courtney Lee, & Marcus Camby. Houston Rockets 1) Goran Dragic / Kendall Marshall 2) Courtney Lee / Bradley Beal 3) Chandler Parsons / Chase Budinger / Marcus Morris 4) Al Jefferson / Patrick Patterson 5) Marcus Camby / Donatas Motiejunas / Meyers Leonard Sacramento Kings 1) Kyle Lowry / Isiah Thoams 2) Marcus Thornton / Jimmer Fredette 3) Tyreke Evans / Donte Greene 4) Luis Scola / Jason Thompson 5) DeMarcus Cousins / Chuck Hayes Utah Jazz 1) Devin Harris / Earl Watson 2) Kevin Martin / Alec Burks 3) Gordon Hayward / CJ Miles 4) Paul Millsap / Jeremy Evans 5) Derrick Favors / Enes Kanter
I like it, but Utah wouldn't trade Jefferson for Martin you'd have to include another asset for them to even consider it... maybe throwing in Budinger can make it a more viable move for Utah...

These trades don't help us in the long term. We need to rebuild by keep guys that are in our future plans and getting rid of all that aren't.
Gotta get Llull over here. Can't help but think Pau Gasol is still a target. Overpaid but valuable---can pass, score, block shots. Tremendous BBIQ. Gotta keep Dragic. Lowry in a trade to move up in the draft.
Sarcasm...lol...Expected from "diehard fans"...I dont know about you but im looking to get better...15 years of crappiness...is not what i had in mind...
Forgot that I was in spelling/grammar class...you should join your friends at the National Spelling Bee...
That's what every fan here in Houston has come to understand..Forget thinking about going after a big name...Just draft a player...because you all draft picks become all-stars...You know why Bosh didnt come here...bc...he had 2 superstar friends that he wanted to play with... Getting Dwight via trade...may at least get you a consideration..
Some of the biggest trades in NBA history have been for players that are A. Superstars...for B. Scrubs... The Rockets are a poor drafting team...might be served better trading
i gotta say this thread we really awesome. i agree with all your ideas. just hope morey actually reads this
With the Evans buzz, here's my roster: DWill/Llull Evans/Bud Parsons/Hedo Motie/Smith Howard/Camby Here's how it works: Howard/Hedo for Lowry/Martin/Scola/Dalembert Evans for Patterson/Morris DWill signs as FA Dragic/Lee are lost to FA (relinquish cap holds) Salary Breakdown: $62,808,031 $2,535,565 Parson/Bud/Smith $33,887,775 including Howard/Hedo $18,668,431 just Williams $52,556,206 so far $57,808,031 with Evans $62,808,031 with Motie and Llull and Camby sharing MLE (Camby vet min $1.2M) If the Luxury Tax level is about $70M, we'll be over the cap about $4-5M in 2012-2013. Does this team make a championship run? Are they a serious contender? Big 3 now is Howard/DWill/Evans. Is that enough against Wade/James/Bosh? Gay/Randolph/Gasol? Kobe/Gasol/Bynum? Parker/Ginobili/Duncan? It definitely puts Houston in a commanders chair instead of Mediocrity Treadmill.
