Delfino or Dunleavy would be a good pick up from the Bucks now they've gotten Ellis.

Dunleavys earned Skiles trust. He might have won the starting SF position or at least a Ginobili type role off the bench. So he's likely off the table.

Delfino is an expiring contract and can cover PG, SG, and SF. He'd bring 3P shooting, defense, and playmaking. The Rockets could use all of that.

Alright .... for the record i am still in the " tank camp " but to have a little fun i decided to try a few trades that improve our team.... I would do these only if we knew for certain lowry will be back to full health by the playoffs ...

First Trade dragic/scola for gasol .... the way Goran has been playing lately i think the lakers have to at least consider this ... no way they are winning anything as currently built and pressure is on ... i dont really put any merit into media speculation about what the lakers do and dont do ( ie deals involving rondo and lowry etc ) so im basing this only off my own opinion. ... I still think that this is a good trade for both sides

Next up we rent dwight .. LOL

OK so its clear that unless we are NJ that dwight is a rental and we are gonna have to try to convince him to stay. Thats cool with me ... plus with howard and pau we are contenders this year ...

Now i would like to keep lowry ... and i think the offer has enough to it without lowry in it... when you look at all the other deals on the table for howard ( esp with GS out of it ) i think ours might be the best .... we can offer tons of salary relief plus a prospect or two...

    So http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=6n5vtrp

also we could add twill or flynn ... we need to keep one of them to run point while lowry is out ... Also to actually ad something of value to the deal besides salary relief ( only non expiring is martin ... who will be next year ) Throw in NYK pick/ Llull / Motie / HOU 2014 1st ... something like that .. or just a combination of a few of em..... No other team can offer as much salary relief as us and still add players like morris and donuts to the deal ...

SO basically you are looking at

Lowry/Ish ( flynn traded .. he actually is on a bigger contract than t-will )
    Lee/ Twill
    Parsons/ Bud
    Gasol/ PAt
    Howard/ Smith

I mean it completely unlikely but ... it makes sense in a way ... i say at least worth a shot to ask on both ends .

Ive put some thought into this one. See what you guys think-

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=796ngba

Leaves Rockets with this roster for the rest of the year.-

    Lowry, Conley (D-League call up)
    Lee, Budinger
    Granger, Parsons, Morris
    Scola, Patterson
    Dalembert/Kaman/Smith

-For the next two weeks, start Lee at PG, with Granger at the SG position. I love the size, length, and depth this gives the Rockets.

you traded away all our summer cap space and sent parsons to bench. Once he develops a consistant jumper he will be much more valuable o nthe floor than granger.

The Lakers are going to be way way way over the cap. Any deal they make will have to have them moving towards being under the cap next season. Even the deep pockets of Jerry Buss cant compete with the new CBA.

Plus, Martin makes no sense for the Lakers to bring in. No sense. Im pretty sure you meant for Kevin Martin to be going to the Lakers then it might make more sense.

If the Dwight "rental" is off the table...

    Martin for Beasley + A.Randolph + pick
    A.Randolph for Delfino

Hill, Flynn, TWill, Thabeet, & Minny's pick for Kaman

    Sign Fesenko and Patty Mills

    Dragic, Delfino, Mills, Lowry [IR]
    Lee, Budinger, (Delfino)
    Parsons, SuperBeas, (Delfino)
    Scola, Patterson, Morris
    Dalembert, Kaman, Fesenko, Smith

as of now dwight rental is still on table because he hasnt agreed to sign a contract extension. From the news it seems houston is now the only team that will take him in since GSW has already gotten a center in trade
