trade lowry dammit lol. you guys keeping him on the roster on every trade scenerio . bring in the 76ers pg Jrue Holiday
Martin, Hill, Flynn, Cbud for Kaman and Gordon Lowry, Scola, Morris, rights to Llull, and draft picks for Deron Williams
Also I guarantee DWill signs with the Mavs in Free Agency. He's from Dallas, they have the cap room and he's already praising Mavs fans through the media
Not if he's traded to a decent team he likes before the deadline. He won't pass up that much money unless he's on a garbage team with no chance at playoffs
I am obsessed with this trade -- Rockets -- Melo, Goudelock Lakers -- Amare, Dragic, Morris Knicks -- Pau, Martin, Hill, Williams
Rockets: Lowry/Goudelock Lee/Bud Melo/Parsons Scola/Patterson Dalembert Lakers: Dragic Kobe Barnes Amare Bynum Knicks: Lin Martin Fields Pau Chandler
My last idea before the trade deadline!! This team as we know isn't going anywhere and it's time to blow it up and work towards contenders instead of staying in the middle of the pack. I say we need to make these three trades at the deadline to set us up for the future. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=84e54rk Trade 1- OKC trades Harden, Mohammed, Ivey to HOU for Dalembert, Patterson, Lee http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7gwd374 Trade 2- LAL trades Gasol, Kapono to HOU for Scola, Martin, Dragic http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=7d5lnhm Trade 3- NO trades Kaman to HOU for Thabeet, Hill, Flynn, MIN 2nd rd pick Lowry, Ivey Harden, Williams Parsons, Bud, Kapono Gasol, Morris, Smith Kaman, Mohammed OKC does it to improve their frontcourt with Dalembert/Patterson being Perkins/Ibaka and gets a quality SG in Lee that can play at both ends. LAL does it to improve their bench production with Martin, gives them a quality PG in Dragic, and Scola replaces Gasol at PF. NO does it to get some value for Kaman's expiring and a pick HOU obviously does it for all-star caliber players in Gasol/Harden while getting expirings in Ivey/Kapono/Mohammed/Kaman This also clears room for D-Mo when he comes over next season and draft a center.
Reports from Ryan R. from ESPN today is that they are softening their stance with the Rockets offer, apparently its 2 of 3 out of Martin, Scola, and Lowry. Obviously they are probably involving a third team for Martin to give them a better deal. From as much as you have heard Lowry's name being mentioned it wouldn't be surprising if he is truely being involved in the trade if it is truely going down for real this time. I would assume the "softened" stance for Pau would be Martin/Scola + third team deal like Minnesota sending back Luke Ridinour & Beasley. That trade is def. better for all three teams except the Lakers getting the lower grade PG in Ridinour. The Lakers obviously want Lowry and Scola, and the Rockets prob. ultimately pull the trigor if all else falls apart, but if they can keep him and somehow use Martin to facilitate a trade where everyone is happy then its better to be patient for the best deal.
I feel like Minny should have to give up more than this to get Martin though. I still think Martin should be worth either Pekovic or Derrick Williams.
