Don't think you understand, a team can only amnesty a player who was with the team when the new CBA was signed. The only players that are eligible to be amnestied by the Rockets are Martin, Scola, Lowry, Dragic, Patterson, Bud, Williams, Flynn, Hill, Thabeet, and Lee. The only team that could amnesty Turkoglu was the Magic, and they already used their amnesty clause on Gilbert Arenas. The NBA is stuck with that contract until it expires now.
I'll get violent with him...Brad Miller was the worst basketball player that got significant minutes last year in the NBA. The guy is awful. He's fat, he can't jump, he can't play any defense whatsoever, and he turns the ball over like a machine. He'll knock down the occasional wide open 3 and make a nice back door pass once a game. He SUCKS. Anyone who would package him in any deal is a complete and utter moron.

Portland trade: G. Wallace, Craig Smith Portland receive: Dragic, Bud, Thabeet, future 2nd round draft pick (Rockets). Why? Batum becomes their starting SF and they need Dragic to run the team at PG. Bud comes off the bench as (cheap) back-up SF/SG. Thabeet can replace Oden ... Rockets line-up: PG: Lowry/Flynn SG: Lee/T-Will SF: Wallace/Parsons/Morris PF: Al Jefferson/PPat/Craig Smith C: Dalembert/Hill/Greg Smith
How about something like this? Bud, the 09'ers and the pick to NO for Gordon and Kaman. LA gets Scola, Dragic, Beasley Min gets Martin, and maybe Blake? Hou gets Gasol. Hou lineup is then Chandler, Morris Gasol, Patterson Kaman/Dalembert Lowry/Ridnour Gordon/Lee
I've been paying attention to the Bulls owned bobcats first round pick this year. If Morey can somehow aquire this pick it would be gold. I imagine it would involve taking a bad contract back and giving them either Martin or lee. Maybe Scola+ lee for bobcats #1 and boozer. That's a major contract to eat up but this might be what Morey has to do to get that transformative player. Any other ideas you guys have to get this pick?

I would like to trade K-Mart to the Clips for Jordan. I think this could really solitify both teams. I would even consider throwing in the Knicks pick we have but I think K-Mart & Jordan are an even trade.
If the Clippers did this they wouldn't have a single true center on their roster. Don't see it happening.
