Do you think Josh Smith could fit with the Rockets and fill our defensive void?

I would like to trade their best player John Wall for our best player, AB since we have a better record right now. Maybe I can include Chase if they do not like AB alone. You all should be know that Chase would be top 5 pick if he enter this year draft. Top 5 draft player and the best player in a good team should be enough to get Wall, I am guessing.

Brand still produces but you can't pay Brand and Scola.

Philly would have to give us the right to swap positions on this years first rounder to take Brand IMO. Plus I would want to keep Battier since its obviously a all in move.

It seems that only people with similar IQ of AB or Javale.... are the ones insisting that AB is the best player of the Rockets roster.

This McGee guy is something  He is like reckless driver in basketball court and make people hurt. Don't get me wrong. He is from same school like me. I do not intend to bash him. But.......what ?

That or anybody suggesting the Wizards would even consider moving Wall at all....let alone for that.

It would be the same as me proposing we trade Hill and filler for Blake Griffin.

First the McGee missed dunk, now DD saying that Brooks and Lowry are equals as far as court vision is concerned. HAHAHAHA...........

The only way I would consider trading Brooks for McGee is if Washington throws in their No.1 pick.

Brooks is more valuable for us than McGee.

If Chase is indeed a top 5 draft player, and if AB is indeed the best player on the team (better than Martin, or Scola), then there is a chance for this trade to be considered. The problem is that those ifs are not true, so this trade is just a dream.

AB for MaGee? I do not know who is that guy. AB clearly is better than McGee. Chase for McGee sounds right.

The only thing Scola is doing differently this year is shooting more. His shooting percentages and rebounding are the same. In fact Brooks THIS YEAR, is still scoring it more efficiently than Scola, and he'll still be the most reliable option at the end of games once he's fully back in the flow.

I would consider trading AB purely because that he is up for a big contract next summer. The Rockets are (or at least should be) in a rebuilding mode and how far do you honestly think we can go with AB as our best players a couple of years down the road? I wouldn't trade AB for McGree straight up because Aaron is a much better player, but if Washington throws in their NO. 1 pick I would consider.

You could leave Fields out of the equation and it would still work. The Knicks are ready to trade Randolph for their pick back so they can trade it with Curry + Chandler + Gallinari for Melo. I added Fields because I wasn't sure Denver would be open to the trade but if Melo will only go to NY they really can't be too choosy or they may lose him for nothing. I know NY would rather keep Feilds but if you did remove him from the deal, I think the Knicks would be all over the deal but would the Nuggets?

If the Knicks kept Fields they'd have:
    Birdman/Mozgov
    Stoudemire/Jeffries/Balkman/Forbes(?)
    Carmelo/Budinger/Williams
    Fields/Walker/Mason/Rautins
    Felton/Douglas

AB's contract worries me. If not for the CBA crap next year, we could have locked him up already for a few years. But by Les and Morey choosing (wisely, I think) not to do so, I'm sure Brooks will feel no loyalty whatsoever to re-sign with us. He'll go to the highest bidder or the best situation. I'd hate to lose him and get squat in return.
