exactly my point, do as many of these trades as possible only difference being include anyone that we have to in order to achieve the trades. A combination of CP3, Danny Granger/Iggy/Gerald Wallace/Melo, ellis would be nice. Better than our current combination of "talent". DD forget Anthony Randolph the guy sucks the big one, just cuz he's young and has got the so called "potential" (alas Hill) doesnt mean we need him nor should want him. Same goes for Hill, no wonder every trade revolves around him, simply not wanted nor needed here in Houston. Randolph would simply take over JJ's current mins which are NONE....
The Josh Smith one sounds the best Although, i rather keep brooks. Josh Smith Has the athleticism and scoring ability of buddinger and the defense of good Shane battier; perfect combo.
Only make trade if its a big one, let expiring contracts end. Try again next year, Another year is wasted. Dont think Morey can snap his fingers and get a star, No one wants our crappy players

Trade 1 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=29yru9f Trade 2 http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=26sekp7 with NY picks Billups/Lowry/Ish Martin/Lee/Taylor Iggy/Bud Scola/Hayes/Patpat Nene/Miller
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=23jzprv this could work bobcats get rid of diop and carrolls nasty contracts get an efficient scorer in martin and larry browns coaching will make martin play some defense they get nice prospects in fernandez and batum and expirings in battier and jeffries portland gets dudley who can just as good as batum hayes to come off the bench and budinger offthe bench pheonix gets capt jack and hill who nash will make better and finally we get richardson and wallace who will make our defense better but our scoring will be there just more balanced we have to give picks to charlotte though maybe one to charlotte and one to phoenix or both to charlotte
Sometimes i wonder what Morey really looks at when he evaluates players. Does he look at a statistical grid? I would have to say he does by looking at our roster. Reality is we have a roster with no real team leader AND a roster full of players that are used to loosing Lee/Miller/Jeffries/Martin/Hill etc.. These guys sucked. They were on loosing franchises last season. And they wasn't even the best player on their squad. So imo this team need to go 'all in' on Anthony and blow it up when he leaves thus S&T. Then they need to go 'all-in' in the draft. This team has no identity and lacks #1 scoring options. They have three or four #2 and #3 options on a good team. This team has no leader imo. They have no closer. They have no enforcer. They lack 2-way players. Looks like a team put together by measuring statistics which leaves out the real qualities you look for in a real team.
Jeff Foster....guy is a rebounding machine and blocks shots...exactly what we need....unfortunately i can't see how we'd get him without doing something stupid like giving up a pick. He's expiring at about 6.5 mill..maybe JJ and taylor?
Sorry but I laughed out loud at this. I get what you're saying... I think. But it reads like "we just need the all-star team to beat everyone else."
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine Looking at the 4 main pieces, I like this trade- room for improvement though. Nets receive Melo. Nuggets receive B.Lopez. Rockets receive Gerald Wallace. Bobcats receive Nene. Thoughts? suggestions to better facilitate this in principle?
Would you consider to trade Kavin Martin for OJ Mayo + expiring contracts? Mayo was the no.3 pick, and ranked 2nd in rookie of the year award. But, he is not happy in Memphis now. His stats are not good this season. The grizzles want to move him. I think he still has the potential to be a good player.
No he's still an undersized sg, we need to get bigger if we ever want to be able to compete against LA.
