If you want to trade for Jeff Green, you might as well consider this trade proposal: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=5945241&postcount=2541
To Denver: Yaos Expiring Deal Kevin Martin Jared Jeffries Jordan Hill Chase Budinger Aaron Brooks (2) 1st Round Picks for Carmelo Anthony Nene Billups Sheldon Williams I think that package of players is better than the Knicks plus it provides serious financial relief for them. For us: Billups/Lowry/Ish Lee/Twill Melo/Battier Scola/PdPat Nene/Hayes/Miller Lee can and should start. I love Martin but for our team to be elite we need a 2 way player at the shooting guard position. He started on a team that went to the finals, so he has some experience with it (as long as we dont ask him to make a lay up at the buzzer). Another plus from this trade would be getting Twill into the rotation. Of course this is random and wont happen but until Melo gets dealt i can always dream. Is the package i mentioned above better than NYK and/or NJ?
DJ Augustine and Gerald Wallace for Aaron Brooks+Chase Budinger+Jordan Hill. We stay small, but we retain what will be a good lotto pick. Then deal Battier for a late first rounder. Hayes/Miller Scola/Patterson Wallace/Williams Martin/Lee Lowry/Augustine Obviously Scola ends up being the next to do, but you could very well justify keeping him around for the next generation.
Now that Minny has Randolph - Pekovic may become expandable. I wouldnt mind doing a Brooks for Pekovic trade or even Flynn. I think Flynn can be damn good once he recovers from injuries. Although he is a scorer, he actaully has fundamental PG skills which Brooks lacks. Brooks+Bud for Flynn+Pekovic.
Clippers: Brooks (rfa) + Hill Rockets: Deandre Jordan (rfa) + right to swap 2011 1st round picks with LAC
Check this out.... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4zwq2qo do you think they'll bite? If so: 1)Lowry/Brooks/Ish 2)Lee/T-Will 3)Battier/Budinger 4)Murphy/Patterson/Hayes/JJ 5)Favors/Hill/Miller/Yao

No to Harris. I trade Brooks to the Nets I would do something like... Nets get: Aaron Brooks, 2013 or 2014 Second Round Pick Rockets get: Damion James, 2012 1st round pick (Protected: Top 5/Top 5/Top 5/Then 2 2nd round picks), B. Uzoh (to match salaries)
Picking up on the G.Wallace, Battier, Brooks & M.Thornton rumors: Rockets trade: Yao Ming, Aaron Brooks, Jordan Hill, Chase Budinger, Shane Battier Receive: Gerald Wallace, Marcus Thornton, Troy Murphy, Sherron Collins, Jason Smith, HOU 2012 1st (via NJ), $7.4mil TPE Bobcats trade: Gerald Wallace, Boris Diaw, Derrick Brown, Sherron Collins Receive: Jordan Hill, Chase Budinger, Yao Ming, Stephen Graham Nets trade: Troy Murphy, Ben Uzoh, HOU 2012 first rounder, cash Receive: Aaron Brooks, Marcus Banks, Willie Green, David Andersen Hornets trade: Marcus Thornton, Willie Green, Marcus Banks, David Andersen Receive: Shane Battier, Boris Diaw, Derrick Brown, Ben Uzoh $3mil cash http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4hl5m7o The Rockets get under the luxary tax, re-acquire their 2012 first rounder, get their man in Wallace and create a TPE worth $7.4mil. The Bobcats acquire young 'talent' in Hill & Budinger, while getting rid of Diaw's and his contract. The Nets get Brooks, which enables them to trade Harris. The Hornets add veteran talent without going over the luxary tax. They trade Thornton and a bunch of scrubs for Battier and Boris Diaw, who in essence is a cheaper version of Antwan Jamison (who they were rumored to go after). Hayes Miller Scola Patterson G.Wallace T.Williams Martin Thornton Lowry Lee
Clips would rather move Kaman & they don't need Brooks since they already have Davis & Bledsoe. They might be more open to a deal like this one: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4ggdzgh Send: Battier, Buddinger, Hill, Jefferies Receive: Kaman, Aminu, Cook, Minny's 1st round pick. Personally, I'm not a huge Kaman fan, but he's better than anything else we currently have at center and could most likely be included in a trade at this time next year. Aminu has some upside, and getting Minny's #1 would be key to this deal for the Rockets.
I think the Rockets should go after Pryzbilla with the following packages: J.Hill/Jefferies/T-Will for Pryzbilla, Elliot Williams and Luke Babbit or something smaller Jefferies/ Twill and 2rd Pick for Pryzbilla and Elliot Williams Rockets get a big and a promising 2/3 Portland gets a promising 2/3, expiring contract of Jefferies, and a promising Center or a 2nd rounder.
Throw the Rockets some cash & picks and I'm in. Bulls/Celtics/Rox 3-teamer: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4cgz26a
