So no one here likes Haywood? I know he's 31 and his contract isnt the greatest but he's a true center and he'll be cheaper than Nene

This is two trades that I combined into one Machine Trade so it would not be too confusing.

Nuggets Get : Gallinari, Felton , Hill, Buddinger, 1st Round Pick from Rockets NYK 2012

    well here I go...

    Rockets / Bobcats / Grizz / Hornets

    Bobcats:
    In - K. Martin, J, Hill, D. Andersen, A. Brooks
    Out - G. Wallace, S. Livingson, K. Brown
    -S.Jac @ the 3, K.Mart @ the 2, & A.Brooks @ point  ...
    -J.Hill>K.Brown...

    Grizz:
    In - S. Livingson, L. Scola
    Out - OJ Mayo, Thabeet
    -L.Scola ( $10million less for starting powerforward same #'s+/- )
-the point they needed for years

    Hornets:
    In - J. Jeffries, OJ Mayo, B. Miller, C. Budinger, K. Brown
    Out - E. Okafor, D. Andersen
-OJ Mayo with CP3  ...
    -Cbud...
    -Play the 5 with Miller/Brown/Jeffries

    Rockets:
    In - E. Okafor, G. Wallace, Thabeet
    Out - K. Martin, L. Scola, J. Jeffries, B. Miller, J. Hill, A. Brooks, C. Budinger

I THINK EVERY TEAM GETS BETTER

Trade S. Battier to someone for some picks ( only the best to him )....

Do the BAMA thing with Yoa - Kings....

I know we would be giving up A LOT

    Okafor / Thabeet
    Patterson / Hayes (resign)
    Wallace / Williams
    Lee / Williams
    Lowry / Ish / Williams

    The Lull kid overseas too
    Draft picks

Only two long contracts ( Okafor & Wallace )
    Just my thoughts...

    Make it HAPPEN DM

I don't think you can trade away 7 players and only bring in 3. You would be left with Max of 11 players. Minimum of 12 is required. We would need to take on more players. And any trade that involves Thabeet....pass. dude doesn't seem to possess the basketball IQ neededto be a good player in this league.

With Oklahoma wanting to trade Jeff Green, how about this trade:

    Jordan Hill
    23.5 year old , 6-10, 235 lb F from Arizona
    6.2 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.8 minutes
    Aaron Brooks
    26 year old , 6-0, 161 lb G from Oregon
    11.9 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 3.8 apg in 23.8 minutes

    for

    Jeff Green
    24 year old , 6-9, 235 lb F from Georgetown
    15.1 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.9 apg in 37.3 minutes
    B.J. Mullens
    22 year old , 7-0, 225 lb C from Ohio State
    1.2 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.0 apg in 4.7 minutes

In Hill the Thunder get another big man which they want plus a combo guard in Brooks. The Rockets, on the other hand, get a SF who can play offense and defense as well as a talented big man with upside.

Where did you hear that? I know a lot of fans have speculated about going after Green, but I've never seen word of them actually shopping him. I'm not as high on him as others are, but I don't watch the Thunder that often.

The Thunder have not officially said so, but the rumors about from such fan sites as NBA Rumors, Bleacher Report, etc. Green is an expiring contract that Oklahoma City may not want to extend because he has become a very expensive backup to Kevin Durant, who takes most of the SF minutes.

Im pretty sure Green plays the 4 and the little rumors I read is that Durant wants to keep the trio together. Star power.

Expensive back up? He starts at PF and averages 37 MPG & 15 PPG.

    Something as simple as this:

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4oqvxx3

...instantly makes us one of the top 4-5 teams in the west if healthy without question. I'm sure a pick might be needed or include Brooks somewhere instead of Ish to make it all work but it would definately fill the gaps.

You win now and for the future.
Nene, Mayo, Marvin Williams = Talent + Youth

    Lowry / Brooks
    Martin / Mayo
    Marvin Williams / T-Will
    Scola / Patterson / Hayes
    Nene / Miller

I would love to dump Miller for something usable. He is a total waste of $$$

Green is no more a PF than Shane Battier. The Thunder plays two tall SFs because Ibaka is so adept at protecting the paint.

Says you. They (OKC) say otherwise with their late success.

I like this scenario a lot!! However I would like to see us keep Courtney Lee and move Aaron Brooks instead. I think he is a great talent and a scorer in the clutch but I don't think he moves the ball well enough. I would rather see this roster in place at the end of the deadline:

    Lowry (6-0) / Williams (6-6)
    Martin (6-7) / Mayo (6-4)
    Battier (6-8) / Lee (6-6)
    Scola (6-9) / Patterson (6-9)
    Nene (6-11) / Hayes (6-6)

That is one excellent backcourt with more than enough flexibility to mix and match parts! Tons of youth and 3 guys who have playmaking ability in Williams, Mayo and Lee plus all 5 are known for being solid defenders. I think these 10 could do some real damage given time to gel.

Beast or Bust - Thabeet is worth a try (IMO)...

We would do a lot of 10 day contracts to find the diamonds... ( Ish like players )

This season is a wash... BLOW IT UP... IT IS NOT WORKING

Maybe the NEXT coach won't have a 10man rotation...

Thank God you're not the Rockets GM. - Da_Spark
    - we should be really good if the whole team less three were playing for a contract...
-how long can we stay the same and act like we are contenders?
    -we need two real centers...

At times we play two PGs with some success. However, it's not a long-term solution.
