@Rockets_Champs I don't see Ray Allen going to H-Town and Melo going to Boston because they already have Paul Pierce..
I just thought i give it a try with the ESPN trade machine and it turned out successful. But i know it won't happen. I believe in Daryl Morey that he will work out a good deal before the deadline. I'm never gonna give up on the Rockets whether they make the playoffs or not. And I've never missed a game. On tv that is. I've only been to 9 games total at Summit & Toyota Center.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4u43ze7 Line up: PG: Billups/Lowry/brooks SG: Lee/Afflalo/brooks SF: Melo/TWILL PF: Scola/Hayes/Patterson C: Nene/Miller/Jeffries We can beat anyone with that roster..
I like how brooks and hill are trashed on this site, yet they're up and coming or complimentary on other teams. Top that off, the other team is giving up their best player because they cant pay. Well, when was the last double digit contract morey signed anyone to? Who says memphis cant resign zach? They might be willing to sign Zach and let gasol go.Who knows? Why on earth would Atl trade smith for anything on the rockets?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=49bunv4 I needed a break from my research paper so I started coming up with trade ideas. Let me know what you guys think. In this trade scenario the Rockets get Curry from Golden State, Mcgee, Blatche, and Hinrich from the Wizards. This would give Houston a tall front court; a good rebounder in Blatche and a great shot blocker with height in McGee and also an upgrade at the PG position. The Warriors would get Brooks and Scola from the Rockets, and Booker and Howard from the Wizards. Warriors would get an additional scoring option with Scola. Giving them 4 offensive weapons including Ellis. Lee would start at center and Brooks would take Curry's spot. Howard could possibly start at the SF position or come off the bench. Finally, the Wizards would take Biedrins from the Warriors, Hill, Buddinger, Ish Smith, and Jeffries from the Rockets. Wizards get a young shot blocking center with experience in Biedrins. A much needed offensive big in Hill and a scorer in Buddinger. They also would receive Jeffries expiring contract. I think something like this would be huge for the Rockets. GS is looking into trading Curry and I think sending Scola and Brooks could pull it off. Wizards need to shed some money and they would for Hinrich's dumbass. Jeffries expiring contract isn't much but it's something. I think adding some draft picks might convince them to part with Blatche and McGee.
Any word on Paul George??? I like him as a player and since Indy has Granger playing the SF I would think they would have interest in trading George.
I'm thinkin of superstar material that's overlooked right now..suddenly I thought of Ben Gordon..he's the former face of the Bulls..can give us instant scoring off the bench...but i wonder how much his contract is..and we badly need an interior defensive presence which is a must rather than scoring.
Ben Gordon is making 10 mill with 2 or 3 years left in his contract. Plus all he does is score, doesn't play any D. We have enough of those types of players. Rockets need a defensive center.
Nazr Mohammed+Gerald Wallace for Jared Jeffries+Chase Budinger+Jordan Hill+Clippers 2nd rounder. Nazr/Hayes/Miller Scola/Patterson/Hayes Wallance/Battier Martin/Lee/Williams Lowry/Brooks/Smith
In regards to if Curry was available.... I have to think that GS considers Andris Biedrins not that valuable (9M a year is a bit much). Biedrins, Curry and filler for Brooks+Budinger+Hill+2012 first rounder+Yao and his contract. You can justifty building around Stephy Curry I suppose. Him and Martin would probably only be slightly better than the previous AB/Martin combo on D, but their offense would be insane.
Knicks are about as desperate for C help as Houston, with the difference being they will actually make the playoffs - so, no.
lol, you would need to add Pattersen just for them to listen. If I was Warriors I would hang up. until you get serious
G. Wallace for Brooks, Budinger, Jeffries/Battier A very realistic trade, IMO. Although, the Bobcats would most likely want Battier over Jeffries ( ). Dalembert for Yao and Jeffries/Battier Not sure if the Kings would do this trade, but maybe (just maybe) they would if we throw in a 1st round pick (which I wouldn't do). And now we have an all-former Kings squad.
