Here are two trades that's probably been mentioned already that I want to see happen...

    Trade 1: DeMarcus Cousins

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=324pxk9
    -Rockets receive:
DeMarcus Cousins - It's no secret that the Rockets are high on this guy with his size, power, and superior offensive skill set. He also rebounds well, shows good shooting range, passing ability, and a basketball IQ... comparable to Chris Webber, who thrived under Adelman's high-post offense. Already in his rookie season, he's had problems with coach Paul Westphal and the King's losing culture. The Rockets would be the perfect organization for him to play on. As long as Adelman develops and utilizes his skills for the good of winning, Cousins would have nothing to complain about. And we have many high-character guys on this team that would keep him in check.
Beno Udrih - With Aaron Brooks, the Kings would in turn give us their starting point guard, Udrih, which the Kings have no future plans for. The Rockets could use him as a short term fix at the backup point guard position, as Ish Smith develops his game.

    -Kings receive:
Aaron Brooks - The Kings have long pursued Aaron Brooks to play alongside Tyreke Evans to be that point guard who is able to play off-the-ball. The question is whether the Kings view Brooks' scoring ability high enough to trade away Cousins' talent. For the Rockets, with the emergence of Ish Smith, this makes Aaron expendable.
Jordan Hill - The Kings would receive a talented athletic big man with lots of potential, which somewhat cushions the loss of Cousins. In a recent game, Jordan had three blocks against the Kings during crunch time, which gives the Kings a good impression of his value. Jordan does have a chance to be a good player for the Rockets, however with Jordan struggling to adapt to the center position that he's been placed him in, it would be better to trade him for a player that more readily fits our team, rather than strain themselves trying to fit Jordan into Adelman's system.
Jared Jeffries - His expiring contract would be attractive to the rebuilding Kings.

Alternative trade: Include Luis Scola and Carl Landry
    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2um75hc
If the Kings still demand more value in this trade, I'd be willing to swap Scola and Landry. Scola is a quality 4 that any team would want to have on their team. And the Kings have been disappointed with Landry's production. A question is whether the Kings value Luis enough to take on his contract. For the Rockets in my perspective, Landry is similar to Scola in that both score fairly well in the post, rebounding is decent, and both their defense are both mediocre, so I think there's almost an equal trade-off. Landry would be an immediate starter on the team to replace Scola and come back to play in the offense that made him effective. When he becomes a free agent this summer, the Rockets can decide whether they want to keep him or let him go in favor of emerging rookies Cousins and Patterson.

Trade 2: OJ Mayo and "young, athletic, defensive center"

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2wvpo67
    -Rockets receive:
OJ Mayo - OJ has already had problems with the Grizzlies decision to play him off the bench, in favor of a rookie. With his recent altercation with Tony Allen, his frustrations with the team is further being shown. Being under-appreciated and undervalued, Morey has a chance to steal this player. He has a great scoring ability, passing ability, and is an overall well-rounded player that can easily develop into an all-star. I don't see any problem with him conforming to Adelman's style of play.
Hasheem Thabeet - Another undervalued player on the Grizzlies that Morey has a chance to steal. He is young, athletic, and defensive-minded, exactly what the Rockets are looking for in their pursuit of a center. His "bust" label does not bother me much considering that the Rockets are great at developing young talent. Jordan Hill was in a similar situation last year, labeled as a "bust" in New York, before emerging as a good talent on the Rockets.

    -Grizzlies receive:
Kevin Martin - Kevin would be a very tough player to let go. But I think it's a good trade-off to get OJ Mayo, who although is not as efficient offensively as Kevin, is still an effective scorer, still shoots well from everywhere on the floor, plays better defense, passes better, and is a lot stronger when attacking the basket. Additionally, when considering the playoffs, Kevin would most likely struggle with the upped physical play, demand to play better perimeter defense, refs being less prone to call fouls, and the necessity to score in crunch time. These are all areas which I have not seen Kevin fair well in during this regular season. I have a hard time imagining the Rockets winning a championship with Kevin Martin. With the Grizzlies struggling and wanting a dramatic change to their roster, Martin's incredible offensive efficiency should appeal to them. He is someone who doesn't need to dominate the ball to be effective, which is ideal to play next to Rudy Gay.

To pull off both these trades would seem to be a major overhaul of the team. But Morey has been aggressively trying to acquire star players, and I think we would acquire two potential ones (Mayo and Cousins). Additionally, we get the young defensive center we need. And we are able to keep the hard-working veterans on our team (Battier, Hayes, Lowry) that defines the Rockets' high-character reputation.

T-mac4bigmac, I think your last trade suggest is intriguing. I would hate to part with Kevin Martin, but replacing him with Mayo and Thabeet makes sense for both teams. Mayo (PG), T-Williams (SG), Bud (SF), Scola (PF) and Thabeet (C) with Brooks or Lowry, Lee, 2-Pat, Hill and Miller as the second team sounds more competitive that what the Rocks are offering now.

Need low post scoring and size? It's tough to find, so you may have to reach for them.

    PG: Lowry/Brooks/Smith
    SG: Martin/Lee
    SF: Battier/Williams
    PF: Randolph/Scola/Hayes
    C: Gasol/Miller

Memphis isn't going to have either guy under contract next year, and neither are going to want to stay there unless Memphis way overpays, which it won't. So why not trade them both to us now for young, cheap players?

I think the best part is the Trade Machine prediction of us dropping 19 wins by trading a guy out for the season and 2 Rookies / Sophomores for legit bigmen.

I think it means Memphis will lose 19 more games and houston will only add 4 wins after getting those 2 good players while dropping an out of season guy and rookies/sophomores.

Two variations of basically the same trades. The second is more so an alternative if the first one does not work:

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2348pc9

    Houston-In coming
    Andre Iguodala
    Josh Smith
    Houston-Out going
    Yao Ming
    Chase Budinger
    Jared Jeffries
    Ish Smith

    76ers-In coming
    Anthony Randolph
    Chase Budinger
    Yao Ming
    76ers-Out going
    Andre Iguodala
    Jason Kapono
    Spencer Hawes

    Hawks-In coming
    Spencer Hawes
    Eddy Curry
    Hawks-Out going
    Josh Smith

    Knick-Incoming
    Ish Smith
    Jarred Jeffries
    Jason Kapono
    Knicks-Out going
    Anthony Randolph
    Eddy Curry

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=24wtucz

Only differences are Luis Scola would go to Atlanta, Zaza Pachulia would go to Houston, and the 76ers would receive Atlanta's trade exception for Hawes.

Why they do it(assuming 1st trade):

    Houston
Upgrade their starting SF spot w/o losing any of their current core. Add shot blocker. Makes veteran players expendable(Scola and Battier) which increases assets to get a legitimate center.

    76ers
Get out of Iguodala's contract. Receive young talent/prospects.

    Hawks
Try to find a legitimate center to play Horford at the PF spot. Either Hawes works out or maybe they can revive Curry's bloated corpse. Will probably need to also receive picks. Main reason for trade #2

    Knicks
receive an actual backup PG. receive defensive help in Jeffries. Do not sacrifice future cap space for next offseason.

I agree that Miller is a great locker room presence and is a good teacher, but we do need to do something and do it now otherwise our season is lost.
A Wallace or J smoove plus Landry and the young bigs McGee and Whiteside would be an upgrade on what we already have, & also give us that defensive mongrel that we are lacking.
I also think that Yi would be a nice fit in RA system.

    Agree?

If dumping AI2 contract is all they want, going to Cleveland is the best option, using the TE. Thats flat out no question. AI2 is not a bad contract. You want to become the winner in Phillies eye? You take a bad contract off thier hands. Ie.. Brand or Nocioni.

What do you guys think of this trade?
    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=25bfwak

It’s just a sketch because I think picks would have to be involved, especially a 1st rounder from Chicago which we could net or chose Asik and a second rounder from the Cavs.

I’m ready to sacrifice some commodities; at least that’s how desperate I feel at this moment.

    Why Do we do it?
We get what we desperately need.

    Why does Cleveland do it?
This is the weakest link but they get rid of a longterm contract and save some money longterm and an intriguing prospect in Asik (If we take Asik then Cavs land Chicago’s 1st rounder and we land Cavs’ second rounder)

    Why does Chicago do it?
They are shopping hard for a SG and C Lee is a great fit there, plus, they don’t have to surrender Taj Gibson whom they have been reluctant to part with.

Second scenario, very simple if Chicago is willing:

My realgm trade, before going crazy,

I don't think Sacto will go for Miller since our genius GM gave him a 3 yr deal for $15 mln. I would love to include him instead of Scola. But we do get back Carl the Tooth Landry who can consistently post up and score with Dalembert by his side playing D.

Then we could come off the Bench with Chuck and Brad (better suited since Chuck is the better defender by far).

Change in Team Outlook: -11.2 ppg, -2.7 rpg, and -1.6 apg.
    Incoming Players
    Samuel Dalembert
    6-11 C from Seton Hall
    4.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, 0.7 apg in 19.9 minutes
    Carl Landry
    6-8 PF from Purdue
    11.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 0.7 apg in 27.4 minutes

    Outgoing Players
    Luis Scola
6-9 PF from Buenos Aires (Argentina)
    19.3 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 2.3 apg in 32.7 minutes
    Jared Jeffries
    6-11 SF from Indiana
    1.6 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 0.4 apg in 6.8 minutes
    Jordan Hill
    6-9 PF from Arizona
    6.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 0.3 apg in 18.0 minutes
