my bad, yea chase is better option for us with his given athleticism, I just though redick would be a real cheap sign for us and hes had more than one solid game, hes come through for them for a while, they are one of my other favorite teams to watch, even when he doesnt get stats he always makes good decisions on the court, probably should've put this on the nba post just in general as a under the radar FA
While I don't think Reddick is as bad as people are making him to believe, 23 points in 46 minutes is not all that impressive and doesn't even warrant a knee jerk thread. If anything knee jerk about the Mavs rookie who dropped 40 on the Warriors... luls..
He would be a very nice option off the bench to play with Yao.....if we have to trade some of our younger assets to move up in the draft or sign another big named free agent. DD
He id gonna get more money thn he deserves and is very one dimensional. I would rather give adam morrison a non guaranteed min contract and see what he can do in summer league or something
During a post game interview a month or so back on NBATV, Reddick said his strength coach told him he was pound for pound the strongest player on the Magic.
Agreed. I could easily see Budinger getting moved as part of a larger sign-and-trade package. Assuming that Reddick would come (relatively) cheap, I'm game. Remember, though, that assuming Scola and Lowry are retained, the Rockets will be over the luxury tax threshold, so Reddick will essentially cost Les double. I don't know if he would be willing to spend more than about $2-2.5M (i.e., $5M total) to add JJ. Preferably, he'd take the LLE.
i am confident morey is going after bosh, amare, or al jefferson, if those moves do not work, he will go after camby or jermaine oneal; he might try to go after manu ginobili as well; he are going to draft a big pf or center thats for sure; i also believe battier, jeffries, scola, buddinger, and or brooks will be moved. the untouchables are yao, martin, ariza, and lowry
I'd be ok with JJ but if we lose Bud for whatever reason I would much rather go after a veteran like Mike Miller. I'll admit that I am a bit bias because I followed his career for quite a while but the dude is shooting 47% percent from the arch this season and overall a 40% career 3 point shooter. Dude is overpaid this season but for the LLE he could be OUTSTANDING value if he can stay healthy which before this season he had been for the most part.
Brooks and Scola will more than likely not be moved because they have both been starters for 2 years now, and are VERY productive. There is also the chemistry factor. The only ones that i think will be moved is, if we DO get John Wall then lowry might be moved. Jeffries is almost definitly on the move. Battier will probably not be moved, hes an expirier, and he also keeps our defense intact. Since he has been out of the lineup our defense is CLEARLY confused and...just flat our terrible. Jordan Hill has some major potential, along with excellent size which we need. I think an offseason with CD or Hakeem would do wonders for his game This offseason we are pretty strapped for cash. Its almost certain that unless we can get someone in a sign and trade, we will just sign a STAR role player, someone in the lower tier of Free Agents. This is the reason i think Ginobili will be our number 1 target. When the game is on the line, he wills his team to win, and with him also playing with Scola, that will do nothing but even further increase the chemistry between all of these players. NO ONE on this team DEMANDS the ball to be great, which i think brings us to championship calibur
