Haha! In yo dreams! We will be lucky even if we get Bosh, let alone Wade! And ur talkin about getting both of them! I want wat ur smoking asap!
Maybe we can do this trade...If the Wolves draft Evan Turner in the draft Wolves gets: Brooks Budinger NY (swap) 1st rd pick 2011 NY 1st rd 2012 Houston gets: Rights to Ricky Rubio Off-season maneuvers(prediction) 2010 NBA Draft: Lottery pick HOU select: Hassan Whiteside buy 2nd rd. pick: Willie Warren Free-agency: Travis Oulaw Marcus Camby sign & trade: Scola & Battier Andersen for Amare Stoudemire Lineup 2010-11: Rubio | Lowry Martin | Taylor | Warren Ariza | Outlaw | Jeffries Stoudemire | Hill | Hayes Yao | Camby | Whiteside --RB
look guys lets at least be realistic with our thougths and ideas, here is how an accurate next yr rox lineup will be brooks/lowry martin/buddinger/taylor ariza/battier scola/hill/jeffries/hayes? yao/camby anderson will not be back neither will armstrong
Houston trades Trevor Ariza+ Jared Jeffries+ Chase Budinger+ David Andersen+2010 first rounder+2012 first rounder for Chris Bosh. (I realize its paying a lot, but we need to cash in our small assets for a large one IMO. Then use the MLE of Manu. Yao/Hill/Hayes Bosh/Scola/Hill Battier/Taylor Martin/Manu Brooks/Lowry
no chance of happening, why because toronto will want either brools or scola in the package and not ariza nor anderson; also manu ginobili may want more salary;
how about this lineup guys brooks/lowry martin/taylor/buddinger ariza/battier scola/hill yao/jeffries/hayes reserves are anderson and draft pick, armstrong not resigned
94-95 Toronto wanted Ariza before, and this would be Toronto going into rebuild mode. They would have some guys to build around (Bargnani, Derozan) They add a defensive wing, and offensive wing, some expiring deals and 3 first round draft picks over the next few years. Free agents aren't going to Toronto, the first rounders they have (and the more of them) are key. I think they may bite, and I think there is an honest chance Bosh ends up deciding he WANTS to be here. A lot of things fit. What is New York going to offer that trumps that? Especially without moreso gutting their team.
I think Hassan Whiteside will be one of those super talented players that never pan out. i just don't think his got the right head on to make it happen in the nba frankly... nevertheless, if he does somehow get a good work ethic and attitude going it'll take him awhile to develop ie Anthony Randolph.
I think I would rather get Udoh than Whiteside, but thats just me. Udoh seems to have a little bit more expansive offensive game.
newyork can offer david lee for bosh, and then sign joe johnson this summer to the max, here is new york line up mcgrady joe johnson wilson chandler dan galinari chris bosh ariza's value as of now is not much, he has not played well this season shooting below 40% from field and 32% from 3; raptors are not stupid, they will demand for more than just ariza, if at all ariza, they will want either brooks or lowry+ hill or scola+ jeffries
I still think Ariza has value as a good role player and defender (with Toronto needs) Again, he is no Bosh, but they will opt to rebuild and the draft picks are the key. Even if NY can offer Lee, I think the draft picks and the players from Houston are more attractive. I don't see Bosh going to NY. I think NY will get Amare and JJ.
it has being stated in rumors in the dish that new york does not want amare and amare hates t-mac and probably will not go to new york any ways he would rather go to miami; the knicks have a better chance at getting bosh they can sign him outright or trade lee for bosh; rockets best chance at landing a very good player does not have to be free agent would be al jeffereson from minesota as minesota reportedly is looking for a quality small forward, and ariza would be a great fit for them' i think ariza + buddinger+draft picks for jefferson; in the offseason we can sign free agent marcus camby for 3-4 million to back yao at the center position; the rockets can instead aso spend the mle on ginobili as he may want to come play with scola in houston; i bet there is no chance that bosh comes to houston, maybe amare but not bosh. heck bosh will probably either go to new york or stay in toronto
also bosh has repeatedly stated he does not want to play for his home town dallas and more than likely indicates that he wants to not play in his home state texas
I can't see Bosh coming to Houston wanting a max contract. It would be more realistic to trade for someone like Al Jefferson who put's up similar numbers, is a year younger, and doesn't have a max contract. It's a lot easier to trade for 13 million for a 20/10 than a 16 million 20/10. Both are 6'10", both play the pf position. Bosh has better free throw numbers, Al has 20 pounds on Bosh. Bosh wants a max contract, Al's increases by 1 million the next three seasons to a max of 15 milion. Minn. has entertained offers for Al, of course they want young talent, we have that. It's easier to put the numbers together for a trade with them than a sign and trade with Toronto who doesn't want to give up Bosh. I'm not saying that Al is the trade to make, I just can't see us giving Bosh max money when you can have similar numbers for cheaper. Bosh isn't D-Wade or Lebron who easily command max money.
I don't want Morey to do any trade which requires us to give up Brooks, unless it's for a clear, inarguable upgrade at the point guard position.
How about a Rockets package of Aaaron Brooks, Luis Scola, Shane Battier, maybe throw in a David Andersen and draft rights to Sergio Llull in exchange for Chris Bosh and either Jose Calderon or Jarret Jack? I think this trade benefits both teams. The Rockets get their big man as well as a backup point guard. The Raptors get a young, exciting scoring guard as well as international big men who can play in their system. Re-sign Lowry (who I feel runs the team better than Brooks anyway) and the Rockets can use their draft picks to get a good big man to back up Yao. The new Rockets lineup: Lowry / Calderon or Jack Martin / Taylor Ariza / Budinger Bosh / Hill Yao / Rookie
Instead of getting a rookie to back up Yao, we should sign Marcus Camby. Also I think we should retain the draft rights to Llull because I have a feeling that he will be bought out of his contract in Europe and play for us next season.
the lineup though will be defensively weak at the backup small forward position and ariza's defense is not as good as battier, who will defend the camelo's, kobe's, lebron's, if battier is gone? ariza is good at stealing the ball but the does not play man to man defense as well as battier
