Not bad, dude ... But I'm wondering if adding Nate is a good idea, we already have two PG's and both could start for any NBA team. If you trade for Nate, you need to trade Brooks or Lowry away I guess ...
Actually the knicks want to make the playoffs, they gain nothing by tanking, b/c their lottery pick belongs to the Jazz holes , and that's way their in heavy pursuit of McGrady, b/c they believe he still has enough talent left to get them into the playoffs in the East.... PS. Even if we were to make that trade with the knicks, I still don't see us beating out the Thunder, Grizzlies, Suns & Blazers for the last two spots in the playoffs(not to mention NO if they were to get chris paul back and healthy). We're better off with a high draft pick, by staying with what we got, and concentrate if getting rid of old pieces(cough*Shane Battier*cough!!) IMO..... --RB
The knicks are no hopes to make playoffs !!!! 100% take that to the bank they are focus on future Lebron or wade ... they want mcgrady to get more fan support a big name and hope mcgrady can benefit them next year.... as for the rockets.... we are good chande for playoffs true fans never say die and tank....!!!! if u have chance
we need to somehow figure out how to get salmons or mike miller or both and send ariza outttttttta here.
I would like to see 2 seperate trades: 3 team deal with Hou, Philly & NY Knicks Knicks get Tracy McGrady Philly gets Larry Hughes Al Harrington Houston gets Andre Iguodala Samuel Dalembert All three teams meets their goals. Separate 2 team trade between Hou and Chicago: Bulls get Brian Cook David Anderson Houston get John Salmons Both teams meet their goals. Houston would have both a strong starting team and strong bench, this year and next. Any thoughts?
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yzb834o Houston gets Monta Ellis Anthony Randolph Andris Biedrins Golden State gets Chase Budinger T-Mac Brian Cook
i like it but whats the depth chart look like? brooks/lowry salmons/ariza/c-bud/taylor iggy/battier scola/landry dalembert/hayes/dorsey
Rockets trade: T-Mac, Cook, Taylor, Scola, and 2nd round pick Suns trade: Richardson and Stoudemire Rockets do it to add 2 studs. Suns do it for financial relief and a solid PF to run with Nash.
PG: Brooks/Lowry SG: Richardson/Ariza SF: Battier/Budinger/Ariza PF: Stoudemire/Landry/Hayes C: Yao/Hayes/Stoudemire
Houston gets: Barbosa, buy out Big Z PHX gets: Hickson, Green, and financial relief- TMac and Cook, 1st rounder from CLE CLE gets: Amare Brooks/Lowry Barbosa/Battier/Taylor Ariza/Budinger Scola/Landry Hayes/Dorsey/Andersen Brooks-Barbosa backcourt would be lightning quickkkkk
Is it common knowledge that this thread is the daycare of Clutchfans? Do you have to have either: a. Under 1000 posts b. The NBA knowledge of a Jr. High Student (Rocketblaze)

Three trades: McGrady to New York for Jordan Hill and expiring contracts Scola, an expiring contract, and a pick to Chicago for Luol Deng Budinger to L.A. Clippers for DeAndre Jordan Why New York does this: They want McGrady as a player. Plain and simple. Why Chicago does this: Money off the books. Scola is a good starting PF to help them win next year for less than Deng would cost and similar overall performance. Draft pick compensates them further. Why L.A. does this: They need significant quality minutes from small forward. DeAndre Jordan will be blocked by Chris Kaman for the duration of his contract and won't get nearly as many minutes as Budinger would. Budinger's and Jordan's value is similar. This is simply a mutually beneficial swap meeting both teams' areas of need. What do we get out of this: We need a starting wing who is a serious scoring threat and can play defense. Deng is this. He is only 24 and likely a future all-star. His contract sucks, but a sucky contract is about the only way we can get a guy like this without drafting him. Jordan Hill has a Chris Bosh ceiling, according to scouts. Landry can start, and Hill can back him up, to make up for the loss of Scola. Whether Hill meets his potential remains to be seen, but with Hayes and Dorsey, we have other options if he's a bust. DeAndre Johnson is a Houston native and is putting up great numbers (except for his awful FT shooting) in limited minutes behind Kaman in L.A. He's cheap, productive, and athletic, and we'll get more use out of him than we're getting out of Budinger. He should be an effective backup for Yao next season. This fills all three of our holes and makes us younger and better as a team, and does it under the LT and without having to gamble in free agency.
Three-team trade including Houston, Phoenix and Cleveland. Houston Gets : Steve Nash, Jason Richardson, Robin Lopez Cavs Gets : Amare Stoudemire Phoenix Gets : JJ Hickson, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Jamario Moon, Tracy McGrady, Aaron Brooks Why Houston do this? I really really love Aaron Brooks but with Yao Ming getting aged we have only 2-3 years to win a championship. Nash, JRich and Lopez gives us most three thing we need to be champ. Experience, shooter wing and a center to backup Yao with size Why Cleveland do this? To keep it short: Amare Stoudemire Why Phoenix do this? If they are willing to give Amare for Hickson, this means they're rebuilding. And the sources says the only thing that stops cavs trade, phoenix wants to offload J-Rich's contract too. They wont need Nash while they're in a rebuilding process. Now in this scenario they're taking 2 very good prospects in Brooks and Hickson. Two expring contracts which means 32 million dolars in Big Z and Tracy McGrady while they're offloading Jrich. I don't know if there a better way to start a rebuilding process. Nash/Lowry JRich/Ariza Shane/Budinger Scola/Landry/Hayes Yao/Robin Lopez/Andersen
Should Morey go after Al Jefferson? Butler&Haywood goes to Dallas, Iguodala seems like won't get traded, Amare hates Rockets and he is probably going to Cavs. Tyrus is not what we need since we have ScoLandry duo, and this last report from Yahoo! makes Al Jefferson available for Houston? Yahoo! Sports says Minny is trying to get Tyrus Thomas, and if they can find a talented SF they can move Al Jefferson. Chicago wants McGrady to offload Salmons and Hinrich, they're ready to give Tyrus for this purpose. So a three-team trade seems in favour of this three teams. We can send Tracy to Chicago and Ariza to Minny (talented young sf? ) and get Al Jefferson. I think this trade is realistic. I know there's a random trade ideas topic out there but it's not just a idea, it's more like asking should the rockets go after amare topic.
No. Yao is coming back next year. We could use Salmons but I'd prefer either a really good player for that type of length on a contract, or a real short one (in his case).
This idea is OK but Mr. low-risk will not get a big contract longer than 3 years. And Adelman will not be happy if his son leave houston.
