First of all, I don't see a Bosh-trade happening anymore ... "Raptors Have No Intention Of Trading Bosh" http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wi...30/raptors_have_no_intention_of_trading_bosh/ Second, I don't see the Rockets signing Wade or Lebron in the offseason ... I would be shocked! That's why we should trade now, for 'All-stars', and not wait for the offseason ... this is what I came up with: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yg7d8hj * Rockets line-up: C: Hayes/Anderson/Stoudemire (and Yao) PF: Stoudemire/Scola/Dorsey SF: Granger/Ariza/Taylor SG: Richardson/Budinger (and Wafer?) PG: Brooks/Lowry/Conroy => Suns are trying to deal Stoudemire, no doubt about it. They get Landry in return as a 'Light version' of Stoudemire this year, but Landry has the potential to be a go-to-guy for them and that for years to come. Without Landry their will be no deal for the Suns, don't even think about it to replace Landry with Scola in this deal. Battier provides them with much needed defense. Murphy is very bad this year, so is Ford ... but I think they can be great again in the system of the Suns. Ford (Toronto version) as back-up of Nash is huge. Murphy is a big guy with range, spreads the floor like Frye does now and can also play C. Pacers are looking to trade Ford and Murphy, so the Suns can take advantage of that and I think Kerr would love to add those two. => Pacers have decided to do cut away big contracts. Ford and Murphy are a no-brainer, Granger maybe is. But I think Bird isn't convinced at all that Granger is the face of their franchise ... so they blow up the 'Granger-experiment'. They get T-Mac, healthy again, their new scoring leader and Bird will welcome Dorsey's contract with open arms. Hill and Dragic will also be important for Bird and the Pacers. Dragic 'replaces' Ford and his big contract, and Dragic would actually be a good PG for them. Hill gives them a lot of experience and an expiring contract. And let's face it, who doesn't want to see Hill and T-Mac on the same floor? => Rockets get 3 'All-Star' caliber players in return and will have their players already for next season. With Yao/Stoudemire/Granger/Richardson/Brooks, you have a Championship line-up ... I mean who are you going to double?
I think the only logical scenario right now is a combination of Amare/Igoudala. Philly is trying to cut payroll and Amare is clearly on his way out. As much as I hate Amare, it makes sense to trade for him while his value is at an all time low. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yg5ejxq Philly would be giving up a lot with nothing in return but it gives them a clean slate with the exception of the Brand contract.
..........Copycat. Only, I think we may be able to get that deal done with Jermaine and Joey instead of Chase.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yf9zvmh this trade gives the rockets the rebounding that they need, so next season they can let dunleavy go when yao is back, and this year start bosh and bench dunleavy. good trade?
never saw your post, but i guess we think alike trade wise. i would be hesitant to add chase as well but i think he would need to be included considering the other trade offers phoenix will be getting.

Houston Receives: Andre Iguodala: 12.2 mil for 5 yrs Samuel Dalembert: 12 mil for yrs Jason Kapono: 6.2 mil expiring Phoenix Receives: Tracy Mcgrady: 22.8 mil expiring Shane Battier: 6.9 mil for 2 yrs Marreese Speights: 1.6 mil for 2 yrs Philly Receives: Amare Stoudemire: 16.3 mil expiring Jason Richardson: 13.3 mil for 2 yrs Jared Dudley: 1.3 mil 2 yrs Joey Dorsey: .881 mil 3 yrs Why Philly does it: They obviously get Amare, as well as get rid of Dalembert's contract and receive Richardson and Dudley who are very capable replacements for Iggy and Kapono respectively. They will have 16 mil in cap space this offseason and 14 mil next offseason. If they can flip the Brand contract for an expiring center either this season or next season they wiill be a pretty good team in the future. Dorsey was thrown in to make the salaries match and can be waived or take some of Speights' minutes Why PHX does it: They get Mcgrady, who is an upgrade over Richardson if t-mac is anywhere close to his normal self, as well as mac's expiring contract. Battier is also an upgrade over Grant Hill and provides a defensive presence similar to that of Raja Bell, and Battier also can knock down an open 3 if necessary. Phoenix also gets Mareese Speights who has shown potential this season and expires after next season anyway if he doesnt work out Why the Rockets do this: We get Iguodala which gives us a proven scorer, athletic defender, and "closer" I think he would fit in well with this team esp. when Yao comes back and he can be a 2nd/3rd option. Dalembert provides a shot blocker and we needed to take on his contract to get Iggy. We get an expiring Kapono who can shoot the ball and allows us to resign Landry or Scola. We have a sick team with iggy both this year and next 2010 Brooks/Lowry/Conroy Iggy/Taylor/ Wafer? Ariza/C-Bud Scola/Landry Hayes/Dalembert/Andersen 2011 Brooks/Lowry/Conroy Iggy/Taylor/Draft Pick Ariza/C-Bud Scola?/Landry?/Draft Pick Yao/Hayes/Dalembert/Andersen
Well by looking at what Rox have, they have assets and the next step forward is to trade those assets for better assets (i.e. players producing better then their current salary, bargain contracts, etc..) At best and the best they can do is bring in bargain contracts. I been studying Morey since he became a Rockets GM, and every move is cost-cutting and bargaining i think he will keep the same methods AND try to upgrade using the methods for the long-term. I don't see Les a willing spender and i see him more of a owner who invest's and bargains.
T.J. Ford 5-11 PG from Texas 9.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 3.6 apg in 24.9 minutes Outgoing Players Shane Battier 6-8 SF from Duke 8.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.4 apg in 33.1 minutes Joey Dorsey 6-9 PF from Memphis 0.0 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 0.0 apg in 2.3 minutes
Rockets ain't trading away bargain contracts for nothing less then 'superstars' and the reality is it ain't happening. And their not gutting the team of what is improving every year for a bunch of question marks and players that underachieve according to their salaries.
Oh no lol all true ROCKETS fans are welcome. Judging from your name though, I'm not too sure about you.
