Replace Scola with Ryan Bowen. I know he will laugh if we tell him to be a 4th option but i think at the right price, he would do it for the rings. He would def. be the glue of the team.
Houston Gets: Kevin Martin Brad Miller Andres Nocioni (filler player from Chicago ~1.5million) Sacramento Gets: Tyrus Thomas Joey Dorsey Brian Cook Chicago Gets: Tracy McGrady Houston: Gets a shooting guard who can actually shoot, a backup big man, and eats Nocioni's contract. Sacramento: Gets its cap relief, enough to pursue 2 max free agents in the offseason, and its defensive big. Chicago: Wants McGrady?
Did I miss something, because this is all I see: "Sacramento gets a very good defensive big man for Kevin Martin at roughly the same price."
I'd ask that you re-read it once more. That is unless you don't think Okafor can play center for the Kings.
Not exactly too sure what Chicago would be looking for but MAYBE this is something that could work...with the writer from Philly stating his opinion and trade idea (http://www.philly.com/dailynews/col...tml?view All=y) ... maybe we could swing a 3 way deal... Rockets Get: Iggy, Brad Miller (Get another EC in return and an all-around wing-man) Bulls Get: Brand, Cook (Get back their ROE from 99, and get a go to Big man...if he's healthy) Philly Gets: Mac, J.James. (getting two expiring contracts that would enabling them to start rebuilding)
Ok but this might be a bit crazy so go easy on me.. Rockets send out AB + T - Mac > 76ers Scola > Pacers 76ers send out S. Dalembert + Iggy > Idiana Pacers Pacers send out T.J Ford + Jeff Foster + Danny Granger Works in Trade machine.. (except the Scola part, but I'm not sure if Picks counts towards the trade if so then it would work.) Why would they do it. Rockets: Get a nice PG in T.J. Ford and is a hometown kid, Jeff Foster is a very serviceable center that has a manageable contract. And of course of my favorite players D. Granger who can light it up. 76ers: Do because they get the PG they need and a expiring contract so they can join in on the 2010 race. Pacers: I really don't know but maybe because they get a change? Maybe some draft picks from 76ers and Rockets.. I wouldn't mind the Rockets throwing in Scola to them either..
Dont think Pacers would do this... i'm sure they're looking at Granger as a building block for their future.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/12/30/AR2009123002604.html Wizards president Ernie Grunfeld has resisted offers for forwards Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison in recent years, but that could change due to the team's struggles. A person with knowledge of the situation told the Washington Post that no player is untouchable. Recently deceased owner Abe Pollin was against breaking up the trio of Gilbert Arenas, Butler and Jamison, but no such restrictions remain. "It depends on how things go and what opportunities present themselves," Grunfield said when asked about potential moves on Wednesday. Houston: Ginobili + rights to Splitter + Kenny Thomas San Antonio: McGrady + Taylor + rights to Eliyahu Sacramento: Bonner + Finley + Mason + $2M (from Rockets) * Rockets get under LT * Kings basically make a $1.2M cash profit from trading Thomas. If they agree to buyout whoever the Spurs want to re-sign, more savings. * Was Eliyahu one of Lindsey's picks? Would he have high value in a trade to the Spurs? http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1408/lior_eliyahu_expected_to_join_summer_team/ http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Dennis_Lindsey_Blog-196692-34.html
Please stop with this foolishness. Gino is more broken down than SheMac... Only plausible trades please
