http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5324302 Three team deal with Utah and Miami. I heard Miami is interested in Tmac. It is also known that Boozer wants out and Miami is interested. Scola and Battier to Utah Mcgrady and Boozer to Miami Beasley, Qrich, and Jermaine to houston
Pacers trade Dunleavy and Murphy for McGrady, Budinger, and Taylor. Dunleavy and Murphy would be perfect players in RA's offense, and Murphy would be the backup center we need.
My $0.02 Houston Trades McGrady Landry Buddinger 2010 First Round Pick Toronto Trades Turkoglu Bosh Why Toronto does it? Youth, talent, cheap price, get out from under bad contract to Turkoglu when it is obvious he won't fit post Bosh
Troy Murphy was 2nd in rebounding last year, and just poured in monster stats across the board......Did you say back-up Center???? C'mon, the guy is borderline All-star, not a back-up, lol. WTH?
No way Morey takes on Hedo's five year deal. I would like to see if Budinger can develop more. I like your thinking though
I would do this yesterday...not a Dunleavy fan but I am a Troy M. fan...the guy is a machine! Hate to lose Budinger but hey... Brooks/Lowry Dunleavy/???/??? Ariza/Battier/Cook Scola/Landry/Dorsey Murphy/Hayes/Andersen/Yao Plus both contracts expire same year as Yao's(2011)...TONS of cap space
i do think morey would have a hard time accepting that contract, but it would be the minimum price to pay to get the return we are looking for.
http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/11554/blake-could-be-the-blazer-guard-whos-dealt Oden - knee, out for season Rudy - back surgery, out for up to 2 months Batum - shoulder surgery, out until March or later Outlaw, foot surgery, out until March or later (Outlaw has same injury as Webster's injury last season which turned out to be season ending) Mills - foot surgery, out until late January or later Pendergraph - hip surgery, close to coming back Four of those six injured players are part of the Blazers main rotation. Two are starters. http://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/6713764237 For above scenario to work: 1.Rockets waive Cook. Optionally, Blazers agree to pick his contract up off waivers. 2.Rockets send Blake to Miami via a TE (from Banks trade) Blazers: Haslem & Jones are starters on the Blazers right now. Haslem's a very underrated player. He's much better than Millsap who the Blazers tried to sign away from the Jazz this free agency. No more worries about a soft frontcourt. A great pickup for them. Jones can play a Battier type role. He was a starter, their best defensive player on the Blazers next to Roy and Aldridge a few seasons ago. Left for a better contract offer from the Heat. Was in top 4 in 3P FG% during that time too IIRC. Heat: Chalmers has been demoted to bench. PG is a position the Heat have been struggling with in the last few season. Blake starts or simply upgrades their depth there. Rockets: Load up on the type of assets salary dumping teams will want at the trade deadline. Miller, Bayless Roy, Webster Jones, Cunningham, Batum Haslem, Howard, B.Cook Aldridge,Przybilla, Pendergraph Blake, Chalmers, Arroyo Wade, Wright, Taylor McGrady, D.Cook, Diawara Beasley, Magloire O'Neal, Anthony Brooks, Lowry, Mills Ariza, Rudy, Q-Rich Battier, Budinger, Outlaw Scola, Landry, Dorsey Hayes, Andersen, Yao
Rockets-Bulls trade: We get: Brad Miller Tyrus Thomas Jerome James Chicago gets: Tracy McGrady David Andersen Jermaine Taylor We get an athletic shot blocker, and we reunite Brad Miller with Coach Adelman, while all these contracts expire this year. Chicago gets a proven scorer who can create his own shot, a reliable bench big man who hits the open shot created by Roses' penetration. PLEASE PLEASE share your thoughts, I think this works but other people with far less plausible trades are 100% convinced that their idea works.
He averaged 2 offensive rebounds per game. Carl Landry averages 2.6 with less height, less playing time and fewer overall rebounds.
Aaron Brooks and TMac to Portland for Andre Miller, Oden, Steve Blake and Travis Outlaw. Gets Houston under the luxury tax, and gets Portland a SF and out of two multi-year deals.
Murphy is a jumpshooting PF with no post offense. I'd rather keep a guy like Budinger who shows potential to space the floor and slash inside. Budinger>Murphy
Ok so GS wants to get rid of Randolph and the Knicks want TMAC... Rox get Randolph, Lee and Harrington - Young athletic big in Randolph and two exteremly desirable players/contracts to keep or move on in another trade at the deadline. Knicks get TMAC and Speddy Claxton - TMAC and his contract along with a backup point with an expiring deal. GS gets Jefferies and Dorsey - Young athletic Bigs and hope Nelson has been drinking. Rox get trade chips and a young guy to grow with the team while Knicks shed Jefferies contract along with more expiring money(TMAC/Claxton) and GS replaces a "problem" with two young guys. Rox can look to move Harrington/Lee in a deal down the road to pick up a stud player.
So you're saying Murphy is actually better than C-bud? Give me a break! Murphy is a tweener. His skillset is better suited for a three but he's too slow so he has to play C, where his defensive liabilities won't be exposed so much. Pass to this guy making a ginormous contract
Congratulations on another uneducated post. I like C-bud and many of us do as well. However... Murphy is a veteran in this league and a pretty damn good one at that. He's proven year after year that he can PRODUCE. Second, do you even know what a tweener is? Murphy is 6'11 and 245. Perfect size for the position he plays which is Power Forward. Not the 3 or C like your thinking. I'm not suggesting we trade for Murphy but at least get your facts straight before randomly popping off like you often seem to do.
How about this trade: T-Mac + L.Scola + 2010 1st Rounder for A.Jamison + C.Butler + A.Blatche We get a solid perimeter threat in Butler (who is currently being underutilised in Washington), plus Jamison who helps to spread the floor when Yao comes back and also fits in with our current motion offence by being the finisher at the end of plays. Blatche provides frontcourt depth off the bench by helping to match up with longer and more athletic fours/fives, plus he's an excellent finisher in transition. For the Wiz, the team is currently heading nowhere, Arenas isn't the same player he was before the injury, and they do not have enough glue guys to complement their stars. They need to blow this thing up, especially considering the contracts they have. T-Mac expires as the end of this season, saving the Wiz a tonne in taxes (as well as helping them get under the contracts of Butler + Jamison). The first rounder will probably be in the teens, and with a draft loaded with stud PF's, the Wiz should be able to find a player to beef up their frontline
