Iggy and "three point shooting" - it's alfa and omega He can't make threes only in center zone (90 degrees). He is 32% career shooter. Last three seasons: 32,9 % - 101|307 3ptFG 30,7% - 80|261 3ptFG this season: 32% - 23|72 3ptFG Oh, come on! If Iggy will be on the court with Kyle, it will be Yao's double-team nightmare
Portland can't gave Joel. Oden is still foul-trouble prone and Joel is an excellent emergency guy in their lineup. There ought to be another defensive center is this trade. Ben or Kwame to Blazers. Otherwise - no way. If they will have no solid defensive minded backup for Greg, they will have to use Lamarcus on C (he can't play D on this position) or Juwan, or Travis (especially in games with us  ). Pritchard will never ever agree on this.
I agree with the bolded, but that is why Lowry does not play with Yao. I did not say Iggy was a great 3 point shooter, I said he was better than Ariza, which it completely true.
Thats a good trade but where has Tayshaun Prince and Richard Hamilton been I haven't seen them play in a while.
I dont know, does not doing it assure us rings? That leaves us with: Brooks/Lowry Iggy/Taylor (McGrady expires or is traded in this scenario-who knows) Ariza/Battier Scola/Landry Dalembet/Hayes/Andersen If you make a run at Bosh with an assortment of roleplayers...(maybe Landry, Lowry, Battier and Hayes) and are able to land him you have a STELLAR group of youngsters who can be competitors for the next 5-6 years.
Thank you for suggesting a remotely plausible trade idea. Most trade proposals are not even close to this realistic. That said, I don't think Morey wants to take on the additional four years of Rip Hamilton's contract. To be honest, I have absolutely no idea why Dumars extended Rip's deal. That blunder was his worst, after taking Darko over Carmelo.
i think andre miller will be moved if anything, im assuming they would want a pg/sg rather then a sf/sg because when outlaw comes back they have alog jam with fernandez, webster and batum when he gets back
Have you seen Brands contract, the team would be foolish to stick with this squad as is, and without ridding themselves of Brands contract they will not be able to rebuild. Tmac provides them an instant redo and allows them to build around their young core. If Iggy is too much then what about Young/Dalembert/Brand? I thought you would say something more along the lines of " Morey wouldnt take on that commitment"
here's some news and this could be a potential trade partner: http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-091105-06/weekend-dime-scouts-say caron has not played up to par this year, along with gil and other perimeter players. they might be up for grab. if we could somehow nab caron for tmac, it would be a pretty good trade.
If Toronto gets desperate come February: Landry, TMac, Cook, 1st Round pick and $3 million for Bosh, Marcus Banks and Reggie Evans.
I have none trade ideas ... let Yao and T-Mac walk at the end of the season, than sign Wade and Bosh! A Rockets fan dream ...
Hell no... Don't get me wrong I love iggy, but that would be dumb. Plus I don't think he's a franchise player. Iggy is more of a Ron artest type (not the #1 option, but more of a second or third option)
