Ok I'm going to try this trade thing out for once.. Since its known that Baron Davis and Coach Dunlevey are at it how about this.. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=11~25~194~3018&teams=12~12~10~10&te=&cash= Clippers send Baron Davis, Steve Novak and Rockets send Ron Artest, Rafer Alston We upgrade tremendously at the point and take another shot at Novak. Hopefully this time things will be different while we send them a proven scorer and a point guard to replace Davis.
I don't like Baron Davis at all and that is not a good contract by any means. Besides that it would be funny to get Novak back and use his own trade exception to get him back for free.
No disrespect but its not about who you like. Its about whats best for the team. With Baron Davis' penetration skills, the ability to pass, and the ability for him to get and 1's would be great. Another reason I sort of came up with the idea of getting him is because of the desire for the Rockets organization to somehow end up with injury prone players.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...s=11~25~2753~1026&teams=30~30~10~10&te=&cash= bobcats are looking to deal and artest hasnt really been playing well this season
Rockets Incoming Players: Andray Blatche Salary: $2,739,669 Years Remaining: 4 PTS: 10.1 REB: 5.4 AST: 1.8 PER: 16.28 Antawn Jamison Salary: $9,923,285 Years Remaining: 4 PTS: 21.2 REB: 9.1 AST: 2.0 PER: 20.45 Washington Incoming Players: Carl Landry Salary: $3,000,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 9.1 REB: 5.1 AST: 0.7 PER: 17.58 Ron Artest Salary: $7,400,000 Years Remaining: 1 PTS: 15.7 REB: 5.3 AST: 3.0 PER: 14.93 Luther Head Salary: $1,962,378 Years Remaining: 1 PTS: 4.8 REB: 1.2 AST: 1.6 PER: 9.96 This trade leaves the Rockets still under the luxury tax. We get an upgrade at the PF position and a young, athletic backup center. Scola would then come off the bench with Blatche. I think Washington might do this since they're not going anywhere this season, so once Arenas and Haywood return their lineup would be something like this: C-Haywood PF-Landry SF-Artest SG-Butler PG-Arenas This is provided they resign Artest, which they can do because both Mike James' and Artest's contracts expire after this season, leaving them under the cap
According to Marc Stein: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime?page=dime-090207-08 McGrady + Landry + Dorsey (filler) for Jefferson + Bogut + Jones (filler) Filler contracts need to be included so both teams stay under LT. *Milwaukee based media have floated rumors regarding Landry months before FA began this year and more recently the CharlieV trade rumor. Where there's smoke there must be fire. How high are they really on Landry? *Cold weather, small market team. They're not winning but McGrady gives them a marquee player to sell tickets who they could never dream of attaining in usual circumstances. Even with Jefferson, Bogut, and Redd added up that's not enough star power to match McGrady's. *Bucks go from being stuck with the MLE for the next several seasons to 2010 FA players. <TABLE border="0"> <TR><TH>Sessions, Ridnour (4weeks) Bell, Bogans, Redd (season) McGrady, Mbah A Moute Landry, Alexander, Allen, Dorsey CharlieV, Gadzuric, Elson<TD>Sessions, Bell McGrady, Bogans CharlieV, Mbah A Moute Landry, Alexander, Allen Gadzuric, Elson, Dorsey <TR><TH> <TR><TH>Alston, Brooks, Head, Jones Jefferson, Wafer, Barry Battier, Artest Scola, (Artest), Bogut (8weeks) Yao, Hayes, Deke<TD>Alston, Brooks, Head, Jones Jefferson, Wafer, Barry Battier, Artest Bogut/Scola Yao, Hayes, Deke </TABLE>
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=11~25~1998~862&teams=19~19~10~10&te=&cash= it would work better with battier but the magic need a pg and turkoglu plays the same position as lewis
yeah but the magic have need a point guard anyways and lewis and turkoglu pretty much play the same way
Yeah but who plays pg for us?? you traded away our starting pg and now there is only Aaron Brooks?? bad trade
yeah ur right i over looked that what about this one http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...2~1781~1977&teams=10~28~28~21~21~10&te=&cash=
Barbosa is so overrated. I don't think he would be a good option for this team. here is a trade proposal I found in another thread which I think is one hell of an idea. Much Respect for the guy that came up with this idea http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...~25~125~194&teams=10~12~12~21~21~10&te=&cash=
