I think that this thread can be merged with the trade thread. About this trade itself, I doubt it very much that either team would want to make this trade. Daryl Morey wouldn't really care to take on another long-term deal. I pretty much consider Baron Davis untradeable at this time. From the Clippers' standpoint, after seeing the kind of season T-Mac is having now, I wouldn't think they would go for it either.
This IS NOT out of Tmac hate. In fact I usually like the guy. No, I have been really impressed with RJ lately, and I think he's a good fit on this team. To be completely fair, RJ is much more consistant and I think an overall better fit in the Adelman scheme. The offense he ran with Arizona was similar enough and his style is similar enough that he'd still fit. Richard Jefferson + Contract Fillers for Tmac. Any takers? I realGM checked it and the trade works (with Lue and Alexander as fillers).
I wanna get rid of tmac myself and to be honest I probably would do that, but if you look at his stats past his points scored he really does nothing and has a long big contract, but tmac sucks so much that I would do that, plus lue would be a great back up back up point guard
WIN NOW MODE TRADE here you go buddy I have one for you that may not be to far off the charts for all teams involved... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...31&teams=10~10~15~8~8~15~15~15~8~10&te=&cash= Richard Jefferson Salary: $13,200,000 Years Remaining: 3 PTS: 17.2 REB: 4.8 AST: 2.3 PER: 13.91 Brent Barry Salary: $1,910,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 4.2 REB: 2.0 AST: 1.5 PER: 9.74 Shane Battier Salary: $6,448,900 Years Remaining: 3 PTS: 6.6 REB: 4.8 AST: 2.1 PER: 9.40 Outgoing Players: Rasheed Wallace, Richard HamiltonHouston Rockets Incoming Players Rasheed Wallace Salary: $13,930,000 Years Remaining: 1 PTS: 12.4 REB: 7.5 AST: 1.2 PER: 14.38 Richard Hamilton Salary: $10,812,500 Years Remaining: 5 PTS: 16.5 REB: 3.2 AST: 3.3 PER: 15.62 Ramon Sessions Salary: $722,517 Years Remaining: 1 PTS: 10.5 REB: 2.8 AST: 4.3 PER: 16.51 Minimum Salary Exception allowed trade to be successful Outgoing Players: Carl Landry, Luther Head, Chuck Hayes, Brent Barry, Shane Battier, Rafer AlstonMilwaukee Bucks Incoming Players Carl Landry Salary: $3,000,000 Years Remaining: 2 PTS: 9.4 REB: 5.1 AST: 0.7 PER: 18.26 Offer Matched When a team exercises the right of first refusal to keep a Restricted Free Agent cannot trade the player for 1 year without the player's consent. Bucks are salary dumping Jefferson right now and feel they can't resign Sessions.... Dumars is trying to move Rip and Sheed now so here you go everyone is happy
Man the only problem with that trade is you're trading almost all our small salaried players away. We would have to move either T-mac or Ron to land another big contract and package one or two small contracts along with it. And unfortunately this season the only players I see Morey even remotely close to trading is Head, Dorsey, Hayes, and 50/50 on Artest, and 50/50 on Brooks. Everyone else I think is staying where they're at which really pisses me off because Rafer needs to go bad. All we can do is pray that Morey makes good decisions before the trade deadline.
This one would be more believable. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=294~25~3421~2763&teams=10~8~8~8&te=&cash=
I know man you are right but the other one head and battier for rip is more reasonable.....and so that everyone else knows it is now a buyers market for players just because everyone is preparing for 2010...that is how a trade like battier and fillers work for Rip Hamilton....Hamilton has 5 years left on his contract at around 11 a year
read the above post and you see why i say battier, head and dorsey........now i hear what you are saying but we know Morey is no fool he see's the samething we see with battier and his decline...and remember it is a buyers market right now... http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=294~976~3421~2763&teams=10~8~8~8&te=&cash= it still works and Dumars is still saving around 25-30 million dollars
wow 85 pages. I wonder whats going to happen in 2 weeks when the trading deadline is over. This is going to get locked or will we still keep it going and suggest trades for the off-season.
rip has a bad contact that is why dumars is talking about moving him now he will be 35 earning around 14 million
Do they excite you? They have only two big men and they are trading one along with a good cast excluding williams for a pg and a sf, none of which are superstars?????? Another Fantasy trade.
They get a pg in rafer and a swing in Battier who doesn't want to shoot. They also get rid of Turiaf's longer contract and a couple of young guys where they are overloaded at. Williams is just a throw in.
