    Battier (6.3mil x 3yrs) and Tmac (21.1mil x 2yrs) and Brooks (1mil x 3yrs)
    = 28.4mil
    Hinrich (10mil x 4yrs) and Hughes (12.8mil x 2yrs) and Nocioni (8mil x 5yrs)
    = 30.8mil (ouch)

Players can be moved around a bit.

Chicago is desperately trying to shorten the guards list. We can easily put in Hayes for Brooks which would save us more money too. But shytown needs the defense from Battier (and if they would take Hayes over Brooks). They did have Hinrich on the trading block but not anymore. Their reasons being his leadership. Battiers leadership easily pawns what the Bulls call leadership from Hinrich. Chicago isnt going to the championship this year so they can afford to rehabilitate Tmac for a longer period because lets be frank he could use a little more time whether he likes it or not. Brooks or Hayes, has positives on both sides.

Houston gets a better shooter and playmaker in Hinrich, not needing his so called leadership but it doesnt hurt. Alston if continues his playing would be a great addition to the bench. Hughes, well I am sorry but he wouldn't see much time. Probably take Wafers spot and Wafer would get more time. Nocioni another good bench player. Not to mention 2 fronting contracts. While Hughes contract wont be enough to get a big piece defintely enough to add a piece or keep the pieces we got together.

    TMac > Hughes
    Battier > Nocioni
Hinrich ~ Brooks, but because of the salary situation and ceiling, I would say Brooks is more desirable.. in fact, all the contracts coming back from the Bulls are ... Bull...

    Trade = Epic Failure

Artest + Head for Jamison...perfect no. 3 guy. This guy has adjusted to every new team he has gone to. He has played power forward, shooting guard, small forward, has come off the bench, has been hte no. 1 option, no. 2 option, no. 3 option but more importantly provides level headed leadership

With the Wizards on their way to the lottery and Gilbert Arenas sucking up their cap, i wouldn't be surprised if they try to do a mini salary dump and get rid of Jamison for an expiring.

If I would trade Artest, it has to be for this guy! Jamison would be a perfect fit ... Nice thinking!

Also forgot to mention that we would have an Argentina Duo like a certain conference opponent. A better duo at that which would definitely mean more income from the international sales.

    Learning to read = fail

    Hughes is a fller.

Battier greater then Nocioni? I wont go there. Battier has been declining, stop letting your bias fail to see that. Battier is only good for his offense, his leadership and his ability to be a continuation man in the pass game. Not good enough.

Tmac isnt even a question right now but from your name apologist says it all. Brooks could put out those same number if he had the same minutes, easy. Even in his par slump.

So how many games will it take for you to see that Tmac will slump again and probably rehabilitate more? When he does and I call you back out on your reply will you still defend him?

I like it, but he's their top performer if you think about it.

But he's expensive and he's the oldest. he's the last of the big 3 they'd be willing to keep simply because of the mileage he has.

If the Rockets are willing to give up a draft pick and perhaps add Hayes as well the wizards wouldn't hesitate to do it.

Maybe, but I do not think we should trade Ron..........

We need to give this more time to see if it can work with everyone healthy...

If we were going to trade for a PG. We can find one with a little bit more of a shooting touch than Andre Miller. Even though Andre is a damn good guard, possibly the most underrated PG in the league right now. I think we could be better off with a Tinsley, or take a chance on Earl Watson. If the Rockets were looking for a change/shakeup at the 1 slot.

I agree with EVERYTHING you said EXCEPT the part where you want Tinsley or Watson. How would they be better than Rafer?

Artest for Alridge would be the best trade in my opinion but salaries don't work, Alridge makes 3mil less.
