I would like to think that Brooks, Wafer, Landry, Yao, and Scola are the future of the Rockets and what we are working to build around. I would not let go of Brooks for those guys even though it might be a good move today, maybe not a good move tomorrow.

Well if we keep Head for the rest of the season we could use his salary toward Wafer which would be around $3 mil since we are also $500k under cap. And I'm not sure I would pay more then that since we are paying Scola and Landry roughly the same amount for their contributions. That means we will need to trade someone to resign Artest or we could let Artest walk or try to resign him to a year contract like has been stated before so he can be a 2010 free agent where teams have more money to sign him.

I love Camby, but Baron is a selfish, me-first kind of PG. I'm not sure he'd fit well with this team. And he's never played D in his entire pro career.

If he keeps up the pace that he is as right now lets under value what he is doing right now and say he drops only 15 points, 4 boards and 2 assist. I still say he is a 5 mill player so if he continues his pace which i want him too cause i said after this the first time i saw him play that he was good, then he might be to much for us

Besides that I sure as hell don't want a 5 year max contract on the books with so many free agents coming available and I'm sure DM and Les don't either.

But even with him being selfish he still averages as many assist as rafer so they cant mean he is too selfish but i agree he is selfish but I think he wants a ring

Once again fellas it looks like T Mac is not going anywhere at this time.....I don't think they go through with a press conference to say he will be back if he was on his way out so Battier is the only thing we have to work with...here are a few involving Battier

you make this one in hopes Monte can run your point (somewhat of a gamble)

a lot of that is based on contracts when they expire and teams wanting to move certain people......golden state is talking about moving both ellis and corey so there is reason behind the madness maybe i should have explained each scenario

Yeah, the offseason. Problem is Miller would be a free agent unless we get him in a sign and trade deal.
