Random Houston Rockets Trade Ideas - 2008-09

In trading, there has to be something you are looking for to get out of the trade. offence, defence, and so on. Just trading just to be trading is pointless. There has to be a need. Either you are going to sacrafice offence or you will sacrafice defence. This trade is sacraficing defence for offence. We all thought Artest would be able to take over and dominate when Tmac is out. He hasn't done that IMO. This will give us a good offence players with medium defence skills for a good defence player with medium offence skills. Most people are going to have a hard time thinking about this.

This is more of a need instead of a want. Sometimes trades are made on needs instead of what people want. Again, people are going to have a hard time trying to figure these out. And no, I am not an Artest hater.

We should trade T-Mac for Starbury!!!! Oh wait Rafer bashed Steph and blamed NY's problems on him just the other day. No, I got it. We should trade T-Mac for Marion!!!! Oh wait, we already have a ton of threes and fours. I GOT IT!! We send T-Mac, Artest, Battier and Yao Ming to the glue factory, and whichever one comes back alive is our new leader!!!

Tmac is better then Redd, and as a PG, you have to gain everyones respect which i think Kirk couldn't do here.....

 

My point is that you do not have to like a player to be his teammate. which is the case all the time. I bet a few Rockets don't like Tracy now, but they are still teammates. I would make that trade all day long!!

What games have u been watching or do you just look at the stat sheet at the end of games. Artest has been taking over and hes doing a good job of it. tmac is the cancer trade tmac not artest

If Artest was able to take over when Tmac is out then no one would be complaining about how poorly tmac is doing atm....
