Hinrich? Really?? I see him as about on par with Rafer except that Rafer already knows our system. WE DO NOT NEED A PG we just need the people around him to shoot so we dont rely on him to score its just not his strength. And Villanueva/Williams for Head/Landry...why would we do that? I mean I know Head is inconsistent but Williams just got assigned to the D-League and villa would be good i guess because he is taller than landry but not consistent at all.
I think we need a PG and a taller 4.......so Alston and Hayes for Kirk and if the other rumor has any truth to it a Warrick for Head swap I would do that also
Because he has played only 6 games this year and is injured. The last thing we need are injured players with large contracts.
before you say things please do some research first.......he tore a ligament in his thumb while playing in a game this year...before that he played at least 75 games every year for the 5 years he was in the league.....while averaging at least 6 assist and shooting around 42% from the field and around 38% from the 3 point line which are better than Rafer....After this year he will only have 3 years left on his contract by the way
He would definitely be an upgrade from Rafer, I would take him as our starting point guard and be content. At least we wouldn't have to hold our breath when he jacks up 3's.
Here ya go Morey I did the work for you. Get it done! http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...~2763&teams=10~4~29~4~29&te=2794:10-901&cash=
Ok what fantasy world do you live in where this trade would actually work... great idea to bad its no where near realistic
Your information is correct, but at the present time he can't play. Even if he comes back right now,it will take him time to get going. I admit this could a long term type move to get a resolution at the 1 which we have needed for a long time, but I wouldn't be in favor of it. That doesn't mean that Rafer is better than him either.
Right now I would take Brooks as the starting point while Kirk gets healthy just to move Rafer out of Houston. Would give Brooks great experience come playoff time also.
Ok now this is a crazy trade but it might work because we are giving up some good players for some less proven player, but we would get a 3rd point guard which is very important in case rafter get hurts or well in case he just continues to suck.. and it gets rid of mcgrady which is very important to me http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...teams=15~15~15~15~15~10~10~10~10~10&te=&cash= Micheal Redd Charlie Villanueva Tryonne Lue Joe Alexander Dan Gadzuric To Houston For Tmac Shane Battier Louis Scola or Carl Landry Luther Head Chuck Hayes They get money for 2010 would could be enticing, they get a better back up small foward in shane, they are shopping Charlie and showed interest in landry, and lue is playing like 5 mins a game I know its a lil crazy but I like to include getting rid of the cancer known as tmac in all of my trades
I've been saying for weeks how improved Warrick is. He's quietly becoming one of the better 6th men in the league. He's always been a monster athlete but when you combine his athletic ability with his improved footwork and postgame that usually equals a player that's extremely difficult to guard.
Hinrich has 4 years left with declining salary each season, finishing with $8 million in 2011/12. He'd be an upgrade over Rafer like just about any other PG in the league. If the Bulls were willing to take Rafer back as part of the package, we should do it. Hinrich is kind of a softy though, physically and mentally. He's seems to get shook pretty easily, kind of like Wandy Rodriguez when he pitches. I'd say Hinrich is a glorified Steve Blake. Overpaid with a soft personality and style of play but an obvious improvement over Rafer.
