According to numerous league sources, interest in a trade for center Brad Miller has been lukewarm and might take some time to heat up as the February trade deadline approaches. As a result, the Kings are believed to have expanded their list of available players since the season's outlook is so grim. The one player consistently producing – swingman John Salmons – could be among those offered merely because he could command the most in return. The relevant question, of course, is whether the Kings see him as part of the long-term solution. Salmons, 29, has three seasons and $16.3 million remaining on his contract. That includes a player option for the 2010-11 season worth $5.8 million. He is averaging career highs in points (19.7), field-goal percentage (49.3) three-point percentage (40.9) and minutes (36.9). Sacramento Bee http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm Get it done Morey! T-mac for Miller and Salmons
With knowing that Tmac isn't even able to play back to back games, I dont think Morey would make this trade, and Les wouldn't let Tmac get traded anywhere.....
Wow, I proposed Miller and Salmons for McGrady on the last page. I had no idea if they were really interested in moving Salmons. I knew their were some rumors about Miller. I think this would be a great deal that benefits both teams. Salmons alone is a better SG than McGrady at this point. Why would the Kings do it? They cut payroll for the 2010 sweepstakes by the amount of Salmons' last year of his contract ($5-6 million). They are rebuilding anyways. They could use McGrady's dwindling "star power" and market it for a couple years and take about the same payroll hit as Miller + Salmons.
here is a trade that works people..... new line up Rafer,Brooks Redd,Wafer,Head Artest,Barry Jamison,Scola Yao,Deke Only problem is we would no longer be players in the 2010 sweepstakes
Strange, I was just listening to the power hour with Bullard on 610 and he brought up Redd. He said he wasnt a guy you build a franchise around, but expected him to be awesome on an established team. Then he changed his tone and said he would fit great on the Rockets. Hard to describe, but it sounded like he had a huge smile on his face and was winking like something was in works. Take it for what its worth.
Redd is more injury prone than McGrady. And when they both healthy, 2 or 3 Michael Redd maybe equals to T-Mac. Also if you want M.Redd to be a shooter role player on your team, you need to have very good playmaker guard and hello guys, our pointguard is RAFER ALSTON! Get Deron Williams without giving Yao or Artest if you can, then I would be very happy to trade McGrady for Michael Redd, otherwise trading t-mac for redd at this point will be the failure of the 21th century.
the other problem is that the Wizards trade Antwan Jamison for Shane Battier and Charlie Villanueva in your proposal. why would they do that?
cap relief for 2010....they will both be off by then where as Jamison will not.....it is useless to have Jamison on that team that is going no where fast
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...~1722~510~1982&teams=12~12~14~10~10&te=&cash= Yao to Miami, Battier and Head to LA, Marion and Kaman to Houston. Miami gets the so called best big man in the league to go with DWade. Clippers have 3 bigs and Kaman has the longest contract and it seems like Randolph and Camby are a good mix of offense and defense. Plus they get Heads 1 year contract and Battiers contract expired 1 year before Kamans. We get a plenty legitimate big man and Marion. I think this would not only help us this year but would give us almost 18 mil off the books at the end of this year. I know it NEVER happens because Yao is sent from the basketball gods and more importantly earns the Rox a TON of money with his 'international appeal'. But everyone wants to trade TMac who has no value to the other team at least this trade logically makes sense for anyone who is honest...

For the Bucks - they trade Villanueva for Lee, Redd for McGrady and Lue for Head and unload Jones. For NY - they unload Curry and trade Lee for Hayes and Villanueva. I think they could also throw a 2nd round pick our way and a 2nd round pick to the Bucks. Yao, Deke, Curry Scola, Landry Battier, Artest, Wafer Redd, Barry Rafer, Brooks, Lue
Sacramento trades sounds ideal. I'd love to have Brad Miller and John Salmons on our team. Michael Redd would be ideal as well. We might finally see some movement in our starters. Jamison is great... but Wizards are looking to win now. And if they are looking for the 2010 free agency... they'd have to trade Agent 0 and his fat contract. Only other ideal would be trading with Detroit. Prince and Hamilton would be even, but I don't think we have room for Prince, with Artest/Battier.
1. Im not high I said I know it won't happen but that aside i think it would be great for us. 2. Why does everyone want Michael Redd?? He has missed 57 games since the start of the 06 season...mcGrady has missed 35... just saying
a real simple trade that helps us out a whole lot and clears money for chicago.......Hayes and Alston for Kirk Hinirich
