I want to make a thread called "For all those who cry "TRADE TMAC"... but im a rookie.. anybody want to help out? Ive got some things to say
I too agree that TMac did more to hurt us last night than help, but for goodness sakes people...the sky isn't falling. He tried to play through it last night when he shouldn't have. The people who are starting threads now were no where to be found when he avg 19/6/7 in the other six games he's played in after his hiatus. I'll take a page out of Kubiaks book...either you're with us or not. We played a helluva game in a hostile place and Battier/McGrady/Yao(1-3 quarters) were pretty much non-factors. So let's stop with the BS trades. The last thing I want to do is reunite Stephen Jackson and his bleacher buddy, Artest. McGrady will be good to go come April.
so you want to combine.. Stephen jackson.. with Ron Artest.. again? I know I know Jacko's been a solid leader at GSW (aka. Captain Jack).. but come on.. think of the craziness it could lead it. Please Jacko's shot selection is terrible. He's a bona-fide Nelly-ball "chucker" who'll pull up for a 3 with 21 seconds left on the shotclock... while guarded.. by two players.. Why not go and pick up Jermain O'neal too while we're at it. We can recreated the whole Pacers brawling squad. lol
Its really funny because the reasons to why people are saying no is because "Jackson has a hurt hand". Would you really be idiotic enough to pull off this deal if his hand wasnt hurt?
Jackson is a tough player with huge heart. GSW would be stupid to trade him for TMAC. I can't imagine it happening unless Jackson forces a trade specifically to the Rockets.
You seriously need to be band from making threads. If your a TMac hater which this proves it keep it 2 yourself. We want to win. Upgrade not downgrade.
Nevermind, I think Jackson's contract runs til 2013. If it expired the same year as TMAC, its a no brainer.
I don't know if we can do this but how about The draft pick we got from the Grizzlies from the Francis trade to Golden State for Marcus Williams
I don't think Nash would be a good fit here. He's complaining about the slow down offense the Suns currently use. Imagine his complaints on the Rockets. Besides, pretty sure we coulda had him when he was being shopped around by PHO the first time around. in '98. Too late now.
Does anyone actually think a TMac trade will happen? I honestly don't know, because if someone offers something pretty sweet, your going to have to pay attention if your Morey. I could see a team like Golden State or Charlotte offering something for TMac. But unless its UNGODLY good for Houston, i dont see Tracy going anywhere.
What do you guys think of going after Channing Frye. He is in a tough situation in Portland, has height to play both pf/c, and has really good shooting range at d 4 which will complement yaos post game. Luther Head and a future second rounder for Frye. thoughts?
