I think this would be great for the Rockets. Kill two birds with one stone. 1. More youth and athleticism 2. Backup C We could have this 10-man rotation: Brooks - Alston McGrady - Wafer or Barry Artest - Outlaw Landry - Scola Yao - Pryzbilla Get it done.
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...=2834~2763~455~3039&teams=9~9~10~10&te=&cash= Chuck hayes and Luther Head for Anthony Randolph and Marcus Williams. We would save some money in the process. Randolph is a good upcoming star in the making. He can rebound, shoot and attack the rim. We are missing youth right now. We need an SF who will go and dunk on someone any moment. He can also play PF. Yes we have alot of PF's, but think about foul trouble and trying to spread the floor. He can make the outside shots. Marcus Williams has alot of raw talent. Given the chance to play and not having the coaches dog him out, he excelled. Look what he did when Jason Kidd was getting traded. GS would love to trade him. They wouldn't want much for him. He can be the back up PG next time Rafer or Brooks gets injured. He can play SG and do the same when Tmac gets injured or needs rest. We lose a 3point shooter that doesn't get much playing time in Luther Head. Golden State is a run and gun 3point shooting team. He would fit perfectly there. We lose a hustle guy who gives his heart every chance he gets in Chuck Hayes. He is undersized and can't help us much anymore. Him leaving could lead to Dorsey getting some playing time.
Trade Mac For Stephen Jackson and Randolph Trade Mac For Stephen Jackson and Randolph Now is the time to get rid of tracy. If we don't want to be plauged by constant injury and excuses of lack of heart and effort in big games then a change needs to be made. Tracy is an incredible talent but after last night their is not a gram of pride and determination in him. Stephen Jackson wants out of Golden State and he has a ring and a good record for showing up to the big game. Its time for Morey and Les to do what is right.
There are at least 5 thread about McGrady on the first page of the GARM. Seriously. Stephen Jackson plays with heart, but his 3 point chucking and his off-court antics (wasn't he the one that got in trouble for waving a gun in the air?), are something we could do without. The Rockets need to sit pat till 2010 and let McGrady come off the books and make a push for those free agents.
There's a rule of thumb when it comes to a Rockets trade. You always trade for the guy that dunked on Yao.
Tracy can barely get up and down the court why would Golden St want him? I swear people don't think before they bring up a trade proposal on this site.
**** that, T-mac had 1 bad game, and you guys wanna trade him again? T-mac will be playing at a high level when it counts, in the playoffs, he always does. Honestly, all that really matters is we stay healthy and be like a top 4 seed team come playoff time. T-mac always steps it up in the playoffs, I don't see Stephen Jackson or Randolph doing jack **** for us. we are 19-10 right now, and 3rd seed, that's not so bad now is it...
I like Stephen Jackson because he's so clutch. But Randolph ain't that great. I want more than just Stephen Jackson cuz Tmac is worth more than that.
Also Stack Jack is one of my favorite non rocket players but his shot selection is equal too or worse than T-macs shot selection and he has a hurt left hand right now.
No, not yet. McGrady's piss poor performance in the Cleveland game certainly earned him detractors, but not I think enough for a trade.
I'm not against trading T-Mac, but due to his court vision and passing ability, he's a playmaker. The Rockets would need to get a playmaker in return. However, if G State is going through lotsa internal turmoil, Rockets should inquire about some of their players.
