I would love to see him here and I would lose Battier to have him come over if possible. He would be our back-up center but he would be great playing alongside Yao Ming too! Twin towers...

I love Camby and what he would bring to the team. However, we cannot afford to have another injury waiting to happen.

Camby, where would he get his minutes?

Yao, Scola, Landry all need minutes.....and Hayes gets some too.

Camby would be fine, but we have more pressing needs in the uh....PG area.

I would love to see Marcus Camby as Yao's backup, lets give them Landry or Scola too and get Al Thornton. :p

I really think you have worn the pg thing out. Stop it already. Alston is a decent pg and Brooks provides a nice change of pace. The Rockets are very simple to figure out. Either McGrady and Yao play well and we have a chance to go far or they don't and we won't, period, end of story. We do not have the pieces to acquire a point guard that will make a difference, so why bother lamenting about it all the time. Morey, supposedly, had his chance for Billups and Prince and blew it. So be it. Let's hope Tracy gets well and Yao quits playing like a big puss.

Yes. I reply to me own page. I know that I said that Yao and Tmac should stay, but this is a trade idea. I was bored. It would make us a better team defensivly. Dalembert, Artest, Battier, and Bowen at the same time!

I'm no so much worried about the injury bug. He played 79 games last year and looks solid so far this year. I also must say: never underestimate what winning does for player injuries. Once the playoffs come around all these injuries magically seem to get better or go away.

I can get over that. What I can't decide on is would it be worth it to part with Rafer or Battier in order to acquire Camby? In either case we're solving one weakness by creating another.

So basically we'd be giving up Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady and bringing back Andre Miller, Jason Kapono, Samuel Dalembert and Willie Green!?!? Plus Philly's 2009 first round pick --> which, if they received Bosh and McGrady (to go alongside Brand and Iguodala) would be very late in the first round.

Kapono is a great shooter, and Dalembert is a unique talent at the 5

    Hi.

How does this sound? Shane, Rafer, Luis for Amare?

    Then Luther for Jarryd.

    Youth:

    Aaron
    Von
    Jarryd
    Joey
    Carl

    Last Year:

    Steve
    Ron

Seems like you are the only one making a little since on here so here is one way you can get Camby here if you want that makes since for both teams...
    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...125~255~2834~2763&teams=10~12~12~12&te=&cash=

it would save them a whole lot of money....If you wanted to wait after December 15 you could sub Barry for Steve

I thought this was supposed to be realistic?

One, we go further into LT.
Two, how does this trade (other then saving money) make sense for LA? A starter for 3 barely playing if not rotation players.

If you want to be serious, take away Hayes but add Scola or Landry.
Add a 2nd round pick from us to them and cash compensation from them to us since we will be heavier into the LT.

But were not moving into more LT as made clear by Morey. So another solution.

We give Battier (or Artest) and Landry (or Scola) (Landry cant be traded until the 15th)
They give Camby and 2nd Round.

If you wanted to do Artest and Scola (I think the betters) I would demand a 1st round instead.

I say yea from my view sounds correct.

It's a money thing that comes first always regardless.

Steve, Chuckwagon, Luther for Marcus sounds fair to me =)

And behind the scenes i can only imagine Clippers would rather keep Thornton which if i was them too i would keep him, but if they are looking into the future for a possible players coach, then the only way Battier would be involved in the Camby deal is if Thornton is involved as well and i'm only guessing =).

I would like to see personally which wont matter because everything relies on budget period. Shane, Luis, Rafer to Phoenix for Amare and then Luther to Portland for Jarryd and this is to size up and to build a solid backcourt into the future of things.

As of right now studio is looking for budget cuts and Camby for Steve, Chuck, Luther is only an option. We could do that now for what anybody else knows and what would the future of things look like?

Camby will come off the books at the sametime of Tmac and Yao in 2010...so it would actually work perfect for the Rockets

    Oh right!

As opposed to that Ming guy we'd be giving up?
