so umm how good are you at your math? about 8mil off huh? and why would the hawks do this trade please, read the damn first page, gawd!
Or do the Rockets really want to pair Yao with a player who's been shooting at a 50% clip for his fifth straight season. Or a player who hits his 3s at a rate that Rafer has never achieved in his career we're talking about Rafer's FG% not his 3P% which is even worse.
Ron Artest for Shawn Marion since the heat are shopping him. Somehow we need to land Ramon Sessions on this team for rafer. He comes off the bench for the Bucks but the man is a true PG
Yes, is there any way possible that we do a trade with the net: Mcgrady + Rafer + filler For Carter and Devin Harris
Rafer, Head, and a 1st & 2nd rounder for Devin Harris and Sean Williams. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...11~2763~2382~3239&teams=17~17~10~10&te=&cash= If the Nets don't go for it, Luther for Sean Williams straight up and bring the big man back home to Houston since he isn't playing much in NJ. I believe a poster has this in his sig. Count me in as being on the Ramon Sessions bangwagon. He's a solid player, but I dunno if the Bucks are going to give him up. Anything to get Rafer from playing, bricking, and making so many poor decisions for this team.
More like a pipe dream, but after doing a quick analysis by watching Ramon Sessions clips and looking at his stats, he seems like a great fit. The Rockets need to get rid of Rafer somehow and get Ramon Sessions on this team. As well as Sean Williams. Sessions makes around 770,000 this year and is a free agent after the season. The Bucks will probably try and resign, but Houston needs to get this guy on the team. He's a young pure pg and seems like a very good decision maker. He can also take it the rim and either dish or finish strong. Williams can eventually replace Deke as Yao's backup. Young, strong, athletic, long arms, very good shot blocker, and not a bad rebounder. He only makes $1.5 but is signed 2011-12. Nets would definitely trade him for Luther since Head is an expiring contract. He's not playing much in NJ and he's from Houston. I think it'll be a good fit. These are some realistic moves that can definitely help this team by taking away the Rockets' most glaring weaknesses.
Plus Sessions would start here. He is a backup to Ridnour on the Bucks and would love to be a starter. When Redd was injured last year, he had a couple of 20+ games including a monster 26 night. The guy knows how to play the 1 Rockets should make a move since the Bucks don't start him
Why would the Bucks give up on Sessions? They will have his early bird rights this offseason. I would love to have him on this team though....oooooh baby. DD
How bout we trade everyone on the Rockets for everyone on the Lakers. I hate to say that but good god what the hell is going on out there Adelman?
Tmac is injured, Battier is out, Barry is out....I think what is going on is the team has no consistent healthy hierchy. DD
This would solve our problems. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...34~2763~510&teams=10~1~14~1~14~1~10&te=&cash=
Stop with the mcgrady trades, you're driving me insane. Get a better center and someone to take the scoring responsibility off mcgrady. Artest doesn't look like our option. Trade of the day thought: Luther Head + Rafer Alston + Yao for Mike Miller + Al Jefferson
This would solve our problems as well. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/featur...2763~510&teams=10~21~14~21~21~14~10&te=&cash=
Dunleavy + Rush + Foster + Baston for McGrady + Wafer (non-guaranteed) Firstly the Rockets get under LT. Rockets would be essentially gambling on Rush as T-Mac's replacement who they were meant to be very high on this past draft. Dunleavy might be out for the season but if he isn't he could be an outside of the box answer for the starting PG problem. http://www.basketballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=450 Also Dunleavy & Battier were teammates at Duke and are said to be best friends off the court. So the transition from Indiana to Houston could be seamless? Foster brings size, D, and rebounding behind or alongside Yao. Baston can be waived or traded for a cheaper contract or just kept at the end of the bench with his expiring contract.
