I would do that, how long is LaFrentz's contract?

    It's an expiring contract.

Roy's another injury prone player but less talented. I wouldn't like the deal unless they treated it as a proper salary dump and included Alston's contract while also picking up the draft rights to Joel Freeland.

Roy is every bit as talented as Tmac, playing hard and aggressive is a talent as well.

I have come to the conclusion that Tmac = iron pyrite

Maybe not the old Tmac, but he is certainly performing better than him this year, is younger, and will get better, can you say the same about Tmac?

I would do the trade in a heartbeat. Roy might still be a bit raw, but he has the potential to be the closer.

We're not trading T-Mac...his contract is too good to be traded away...

think about it, in the summer of 2010, we'll be one of the best players in the FA market by a long shot:

    Shane Battier 6 Mil
    2010 Rookie 1 Mil
    Joey Dorsey 1 Mil
    Aaron Brooks 2 Mil

so we've got only 10 mil on da books with the capacity to get ya know, just a couple of allstars, to the Rockets, if Yao opts out. If he doesn't its even better because its another incentive for other stars to come play with Yao and get themself a billion more fans and some extra cash

Trade tmac for marion whose contract is expiring this season.

The competition for LBJ and Wade and Bosh and Stoudmire and .... .. is gonna be pretty tough and violent. The very chance is that most of the contenders will get a consolation prize like Dirk. There is only one lbj so there should be only one lbj winner, winning him should be great but the bet is too gambling for us to afford. as smart as morey is, he isn't gonna take part in the bloody chasing.
Ben Gordon will become a free agent this summer, and I think 10m is very enough to land him to Houson. With Marion's big contract off the book, we're gonna have enough space to sign him, and steve's 3m contract can also enlarge our space a little bit. Ron artest isn't gonna ask for more than 10m dollars so retaining him shouldn't be a big problem then.
Tmac isn't able to do anything more than what luther can do, so please let him walk. Gordon is better than LBJ in shooting while Ron is at least equally good with LBJ in strongness.

Are you crazy?! Thats why you are a rook...

okay I dun think we need another allstar SF...

oh and you want ANOTHER 6'3 Shooting Guard on our team??? Okay go ahead and sign Gordon to a max contract that no single team wanted to touch their minds on.

Yao will still be on the books, unless he opts out and bolts for the Knicks or whomever.

I hope Les isn't as in love with wasting another two years of the fans' patience (although I suspect he is) in order to try for a home run in the summer of 2010. Because he's gonna whiff:

Here comes the pitch....Strike one! Swings at LeBron and misses, LeBron to the Knicks.

OK, here comes the pitch; you can smell the faux tension; or is that my upper lip?...Strike two! Another whiff! Bosh to the Knicks with LeBron!

Now, can Les salvage this at-bat? Here it comes! Stike three, Stoudemire stays with the Suns, it's all over for the Rockets, but at least they cleared a ton of cap room and get to save money as they re-re-re-re-rebuild!

Rockets trade Luther Head to San Antonio for a future first round pick and cash compensation.

This is our chance to trade Luther Head! Those guys are jealous of him now!

I would do that trade in a heart beat. Nash is good at defense but Barbosa not so much.

Nash is a terrible defender. Besides, he has really slowed down. Why would we want someone in the twilight of his career?
