Does anyone on this board think any one in Orlando would trade Howard for Ming.... No Way anyone in Orlando would even consider that trade. I can also tell you that Houston would be all over that trade if not for all the lost revenue it would suffer from loosing a billion fans in China. Before evaluating a trade like this you have to ask yourself if you are a *** or a Rockets fan.
Are you nuts? It was his first game after a while, you're too harsh. If you were the GM you would have no one on your roster.
Trade Ron Artest for Mike Miller & a maybe a PG. Ron Artest and Tmac do not fit........and Ron is redundant with Battier.... Mike Miller moves without the ball and is an excellent shooter..... Minnesota would do this deal to get Artest, and his expiring contract....toss in Luther if you like.....as well. DD
Screw that........Trade Tracy if you are going to trade anyone.......... With Mike Miller we would be hands down the SOFTEST team in the last century...........Give me hard work and consistency............and BALLS..... Sheit DADA I do not believe you posted that trash........
LOL - this is supposed to be realistic trades....I would trade Tmac but there is no way you can get any value for him..... Artest is a tradeable commodity....and Mike Miller is the perfect complimentary player to Yao and Tmac.....it gives the team 2 more years...this one and next to do it.....then the contracts are off the books.... It makes sense on so many levels. DD
I just don't know why trading luther for Elson or Booth hasn't been made. Booth isn't playing on a young, going no where fast t-wolves team and elson is on a bucks team that has a lot of bigs. Having Head and francis not helping the team and taking roster spots is crazy.
Our problem last year and this year is NOT defense.....it is offense. Mike Miller would fit in perfectly.....he plays off the ball, allowing Tmac to not have to compete with Artest for the ball night in and night out. It is about chemistry and getting a team that has all the components covered.....the reason Boston's big 3 worked is that they compliment each other not get in each others way. DD
I think its more about a team that can win a ring. Guys like Miller, come playoff time are shrinking violets. Now if you want this flawed regular season team, go get mike miller, but come playoff time, the team will need a 3rd guy who can and willing to get a shot off. Artest is more that guy than Miller. I dont think Portland would do it , but outlaw, frye, and diogu for battier, dorsey, and head would make sense for both clubs. The rox get what they really need and that longer, younger atheletic players in frye and outlaw while the blazers get some experience in shane, head/hayes. Money works in rox favor and Frye could backup yao for 18mins a night and also if the rox play against the more taller, moblie types at 4 he can do that also. Outlaw can swing the 2/3 behind artest and tracy. his shot has gotten better and better and is very long and atheletic.
On my way home tonight I heard some sports guys on Sirius radio talking about talks between the Rox and Blazers. The trade was McGrady for Roy and Blake. No idea if this has been posted but they said these were serious talks. Is this even possible, $$$ wise?
Exactly what I was thinking. I was all "wtf are you even talking about?" They did talk about it for a while, though.
Only if LaFrentz's contract was thrown in. I'd doubt this unless they're deciding to build around Fernandez who's good but not All star good.
When they had full court press, it used to be a great source of hoops info, since thats gone there is no one to beleive.
